Got this milk tea balayage by Ricky! I’ve been going to him for years and he’s always done a great job with my color and cut!! It grows out nicely, so I don’t need to go back too often. It’s fine to wear straight or curly. Definitely recommend.

I got my hair done by Ricky and it was a wonderful experience! I had virgin black hair that he carefully helped turn into this ashy natural brown that I wanted. I was looking for a good, affordable place in NYC for a mushroom brown/ash/blonde balayage and found MessLook and Ricky Ren through TikTok. After just a few inspo pics, Ricky knew exactly what I wanted. He and his assistant were very attentive, efficient, and friendly, and helped explain hair maintenance and aftercare in detail. I felt very comfortable and understood the whole time. He was also very thoughtful to get a pastry and milk tea from next door for my lunch because of the long balayage session.
