Ruff Cluff has become a second home for my furry son, Ranger. The team are all kind, professional and treat each animal with love and care. I’ve brought Ranger for grooming, day care and boarding and it has only been positive. While he was boarding, the ruff club team would send me daily texts with pictures to let me know he was safe and making new friends. He always returns from his grooming sessions with a big smile to match his new bandana. I’m honestly grateful for everything Ruff Club has done to bring joy to Ranger’s life. I would 100% recommend this place for all their services.

My dog, Molly, and I love Ruff Club! She gets to play all day with her friends and I get peace of mind knowing that she’s being cared for by wonderful handlers who genuinely love dogs. A while back, I tried another daycare for their weekend hours. It wasn’t a match because they made it pretty clear they didn’t love the fact that she’s an energetic big(gish) dog. My dreams came true when Ruff Club recently started offering weekend hours!

Beware: Do Not Trust Ruff Club! We had been bringing our beloved dog, Forrest, to Ruff Club for almost a year, fully trusting them to care for him several times a week and during our travels. Unfortunately, recent events have revealed not only neglect but, more disturbingly, blatant deception and an elaborate cover-up. While we were on vacation, we received updates and photos of Forrest, as usual. On one of the days, we noticed something on his snout in the pictures and asked what it was. We were told, “It was food and had since been cleaned off.” When we picked Forrest up, we discovered a large scab on his nose. When we inquired about it, we were told that they were unaware of the injury. Looking at the pictures again we can see the injury and blood. We spoke to the manager, Anthony, who repeatedly lied, claiming he had no idea what had happened and attempted to shift the blame to another employee. That employee later revealed a text showing that Anthony was, in fact, aware of the injury but failed to communicate it to us. A few days later, our vet informed us that Forrest had “crate nose.” This means he had been crated in severe distress and rubbed his nose raw. We had explicitly requested that Forrest not be crated due to his anxiety, and we were assured that he would not be crated. Clearly, not only did they crate him, but they also lied about the incident and the injury. Now, Forrest’s nose is permanently scarred and discolored as a result. In addition to this major issue, there were other troubling events. For several days after we picked Forrest up, we continued to receive photo updates as if he were still at Ruff Club, when in fact, he was already home. When I questioned this, I was gaslit with excuses about “errors in the system” and that “it didn’t go through because you were traveling.” For all I know, they've been sending false updates for much longer. We also provided detailed written feeding instructions, which were completely ignored. We trusted Ruff Club with the care of our dog, and they not only demonstrated negligence but, more alarmingly, acted dishonestly when questioned. I have never written a review before, but I feel it’s important to share this experience to protect other dogs and their owners. Do not trust Ruff Club!

I had my dog stay here twice. I would not go back. The first time, my dog had diarrhea for two days after. An employee told me they had lamb treats (which I did not authorize), and then via email they said they did not give him any treats. I was suspicious, but I gave them a second chance because sometimes things just happen. The second time, they charged me for something incorrectly. This was resolved within a few hours, but it did show a lack of attention to detail. They also claimed to wash my dog’s bed, without asking. I think that was overall a kind gesture, but they returned the bed with a hole in it. I emailed asking to resolve this privately, and requested email communication since I am busy at work. Stephanie refused to speak unless it was on the phone. I frankly was hoping that they would just pay for a replacement bed, which I felt was a pretty reasonable ask. What is $30 after a client spends $500 on boarding? However, since they do not want to communicate, I am posting publicly. I think it’s poor business practice to do things without permission (unauthorized treats, washing belongings in a careless way that causes damage). I also think that Stephanie’s refusal to communicate via email (written) shows a lot about them as a business.
