Sapphire Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing of Central Queens

I want to sincerely thank the staff at the Sapphire rehabilitation center for the care given to my mom. Our family truly appreciates the kindness, patience, and respect shown to her throughout her stay. Thank you to the nurses Ivanne, Zeny, and Allen for being attentive and professional, and to the CNAs Angela, Annette, Adriana, Carmen, Chan, and Darshan for their consistent care and support. Your dedication and daily efforts did not go unnoticed and meant a great deal to our family. I am also grateful to all the therapists in the rehab center for their encouragement and hard work in supporting my mom’s recovery. A special thank you as well to the entire 6th floor staff for working together to create a supportive and caring environment. Knowing my mom was in good hands brought our family a lot of comfort. Based on our experience, I would confidently recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality rehabilitation and compassionate care.

Sapphire Rehab care quality has far exceeded my expectation. This SNF does not reject patients by faking up bed unavailability. The Admin and Social Service teams are excellent, very capable of dealing with patient cases. In my case, I have used my 100-day short term Medicare allowance in the nearby SNF within last 60 days. I have Advantage Plan authorization depsite zero Medicare SNF days left. The very same nearby SNF refuses to accept me by faking up some common reasons. However, Sapphire has exceeded my expection by accepting me into the facility and has given me great care. I cannot thank enough to Sappire staffs.

The staff at Sapphire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Parsons and Northern Boulevard, Queens have taken great care of my dear friend, Barbara Smith, over the last couple of years. There has been a visible positive change in the environment and staff at Sapphire - that did not exist a few short years ago. I’m grateful for the amazing turnaround. Don’t have photos but Sapphire has an outstanding staff. Very efficient and a pleasure to see how they treat all patients. Visitors like us can see easily around the clock how all patients are treated. They are Aplus in my book. The premise is beautiful and spacious and super clean. Sapphire has wonderful events to entertain the patients and they don’t let them stay in bed all day. They seem as happy as can be possible under the circumstances. Physical therapy is wonderful too. And the staff are all efficient. I can’t thank them enough for all they do. Thank you so much for all they do. Sapphire is tops. Five stars.

This place is a nightmare. I had to took out my Mom from this place directly to the Emergency Room because its negligence. My Mom had a small wound at her back and after 3 months it t became 6 times bigger and so deep. It got infected and they didn’t say anything. I got informed at the Emergency Room. She needed to be turning around every two hrs to stop the wound got bigger. Nurses and staff in general are polite like in a social Club, but I needed them to take care of my Mom instead. Now I don’t know if my Mom would be able to recover …
