WHEN and where would one expect to pass a storefront window on a deserted street of an art gallery on the Lower East Side AT 9AM on a Wednesday morning where a tall tattooed man in a shower cap and muumuu seems intently mopping the floor reminiscent of Carol Burnett closing her classic variety show in after hours cleaning woman drag singing "I'm so glad we had this time together," prior to the much loved show's nightly closing ear tug? Perhaps THE DAY AFTER TRANS AND IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES received short shrift during a speech from our country's Umpaloompa in Chief? ... I think a trip to the Satellite Gallery's March show featuring works by Paul Maloney (pictured) through the 15th will tell.

Please turn it down. I have sound sensitive autistic twins and ever since you moved to the neighborhood they have been struggling. My neighbor is a 92 year old with hearing aids and she can’t hear her TV with the noise you make. You are very cool. Your hats and zany energy are such a freaking vibe and everybody in the neighborhood loves to think about how cool you are and we like to look at you and your powerful art. But please, for all the sleepy people of this nice residential block, can you keep the noise inside? Please? Thank you. God bless you and your amazing vibes.
