Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! Dr Liu is an amazing acupuncturist, highly recommend him, we are from California and visit him anytime we get a chance to come to NYC!

I’ve been seeing Dr. BaoKu Liu for at least 13 years. If I could give him a 100 stars review instead of five (5), then I would because Dr. Liu is a Godsend! There’s an adage that things happen in threes (3), which happened to me. Within several months, I slipped and fell down a few subway steps and landed on my back. Next, I lost my balance in the bathtub and fell backwards out of the tub and again landed on my back. Lastly, I was on the subway platform at Columbus Circle and slipped on the wet platform. I fell backwards on my back! Consequently, each incident brought more noticeable pain to my entire back. I tried Tui Na massages for several months and only received marginal relief. I asked the receptionist to schedule an appointment with their resident acupuncturist. Mindy, looked at me and said I needed a REAL acupuncturist to heal my back and rid me of the chronic back pain. Lo and behold that person was Dr. BaoKu Liu! I thanked Mindy and made my appointment with Dr. Liu. He was informative, methodical and sympathetic to my back and balance problems. It took about seven (7) months for Dr. Liu’s medical magic to work. It’s been 11 years since I received his treatment; and to date, I’m very grateful that my back and balance conditions never came back!! Dr. Liu has taught me how to listen to my body; and when it feels out of synch, then I’m at his office for a tune-up. Dr. Liu is a very patient doctor, who genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Liu always takes the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand. Dr. Liu gets it. From his excellent treatment, curiosity, investigative mind and ability to connect, you know where you stand immediately and what the next steps look like. Last October 26, 2021, Dr. Liu applied the above defined process; and, I was diagnosed with Psoas Syndrome. I didn’t know what this condition entails. But, after deliberate dialogue with Dr. Liu; and my personal Google searches, once again, I concluded that Dr. Liu was 100% on point. For the record, I saw two (2) other doctors before making an appointment and sharing my condition with Dr. Liu. Both doctors were baffled about my symptoms; and charged me for nonsensical procedures that didn’t render a positive outcome. I was prescribed antibiotics, and took them until I had enough! Instinctively, I knew their prognosis wasn’t the correct solution. I had several debilitating conditions like: inability to walk without feeling like I was being electrocuted; difficulty sitting up; extremely tight hamstrings, pain in the buttocks; constipation, stomach aches, chronic cysts on my gum line where I had a root canal; and silent acid reflux. Dr. Liu is incredible! Not only has he taken great care in healing me of the very debilitating Psoas Syndrome; Dr. Liu is awesome in providing me with critical information at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for his patients with outstanding quality medical care. Dr. Liu’s diligent in assuring that my health is the best it can be. Dr. Liu and the entire staff at Advanced Acupuncture Services LLC are beyond amazing. When you have an appointment, Dr. Liu will spend the whole scheduled period with you. I know when I come to see Dr. Liu, he’s already reviewed my files and the reasons for my coming to see him. I never feel rushed, and Dr. Liu always asks if I have any other questions. Simply, he’s awesome! Lastly, I’ll keep this simple. Dr. Liu is the best acupuncturist I’ve ever had by a long shot. I actually look forward to my visits. I always leave feeling so much better in every way. Therefore, I’ll never use anyone else for me and my family. If you need a phenomenal acupuncturist to help you with your health and wellness, then do yourself a favor and schedule your appointment with Dr. BaoKu Liu, Licensed Acupuncturist and PhD!

Dr Liu is an amazing doctor. The office is clean and the team is very professional. I highly recommend.

This treatment of acupuncture never treat my dad. The doc insist me to finish the 5 course which I did. I lost cash of $1000 for nothing,

I went for a treatment on a long term problem with my foot, I was told that I would be feeling much better in a month. Instead my foot showed no consistent improvement beyond the first session. After more than a month of coming in my foot was actually so bad that I was back on crutches and in much worse condition than when I started. Being in so much pain that I needed crutches led me to email the Dr asking for his thoughts and if he felt he could still heal me, and I never heard back. After over $1,300 and hours of my life spent commuting and waiting (sometimes over a half hour for my appt to begin) I had hoped to feel better. To not even receive a response back to me email from the Dr. was confusing and frustrating. I feel swindled. Now, several weeks after the my week on crutches my foot is still worse off than before my sessions. I initially felt that I was going to get some relief from my foot pain because the first session was so great, but I was just chasing the dragon. I will say the staff is really kind and the Dr is pleasant when he's not rushing. But I can in no way endorse this practice.
