DO NOT DO BUSINESS with “Owning Manhattan’s” SERHANT REAL ESTATE The seller accepted our verbal offer on a Park Slope listing with Abagail Palanca. After we signed the negotiated contract and were about to send the 10% to the seller we found out that the seller had another signed contract with a different buyer… after spending thousands of dollars on lawyer and inspection fees. We later learned that they had stalled answering our questions while doing our due diligence so that the Seller could continue to negotiate another offer and contract. We learned that the seller’s lawyer we worked with was one of two lawyers representing the Seller. The seller hired a second lawyer and negotiated a second contract with another buyer, under the purview of Serhant Realtor Abagail Palanca. Do not trust Serhant or Abagail Palanca. Do not recommend buying from Serhant, if they can do this to us, they can do it to you.
