Went to go see for consultation. Our appointment was 5pm but they called to move it to 4pm. Got there at 4pm and was waiting for almost 30 minutes. Then the man who works at the front desk said you have to pay $200 for consultation fee. No one mention about a fee to see the lawyer except to bring a passport and id and a ck of $2000. Dont try the place. They are not honest with you.

I would not recommend attorney Stephen K. Seung, even though he's popular on Chinese radio. My family hired him for some simple real estate paperwork and it resulted in error which he didn't even tell us about, we found out afterwards by checking county government's records. We went back to him and he told us he would have to redo it and charge us again. From the start, he tried to steer us toward doing a trust. When we decided against it, his staff started giving us attitude and refused to apply the $200 consultation fee toward the final cost. Throughout the process we interacted only with his staff. Seung showed up on signing day in the capacity of a notary public, for less than a minute. The staff rushed us through signing, did not explain anything unless we knew to ask, and had an attitude. To correct the problem Seung inflicted on us, we went to a different attorney (non-Chinatown) who's better and charges much less.

The worst ever.. trying to get an LLC consultation in for days, and the admin kept postponing when I called for updates and then ended up pushing out for 2 weeks and giving the excuse that it's busy tax season. They are not willing to work with the clients to listen to their urgency and problems and only select the easy cases to make money off. Go somewhere else if I were you - a good CPA needs to care about his clients first to be able to offer good service.

Primary interest is in maximizing legal fees. Wanted to charge additional $2K for 2 basic follow up questions related to trust even after paying initial fee to draft trust, pre-finalization. Takes advantage of clients with limited English. He also sells your personal information to advertisers. Been getting junk mail sent to the trustee related to real estate as a result of working with this office.
