ShaXian Delicacies is a great place to eat great Chinese food at affordable prices. The menu consists of different kinds of soup, rice noodles, wonton, meals with rice. The restaurant allows you to dine indoors. Ordering food is very straightforward and the staff is polite. There are always different workers every time, including the chefs. This makes it so that your favorite meals may not always be the same. A recommendation from a regular is the peanut butter noodles!

We got two combos: peanut noodles with wontons and the fried dumplings with wontons. Both were super good and for a great price! I got everything for under $20. The peanut noodles were super creamy and rich. The wonton soup, which I dressed with vinegar, soy sauce, and a bit of pepper, was delicious as well! Highly recommend this spot for a quick, delicious, and cheap meal!

The portion is smaller compared to other places. The 扁肉 (flattened wonton) is definitely different from what you'd find in Manhattan’s Chinatown. ShaXian adds a generous amount of meat, and the texture is more similar to a fish ball.

Got the peanut noodles and the soup dumplings. Peanut noodles were watery and the portion size was quite small for the price. There was only a very small peanut taste as well. Soup dumplings were also quite small for the price and the soup it self was lacking flavor. I would definitely not come back again.

I believe I have found the Chinese equivalent of Polish 'Milk bars', but without the taste. I was looking for a quick and cheap meal before an appointment. I first went to a restaurant on whose menu were featured frog soup and pig snout stir fry among other exotic dishes. I'm vegetarian, so I swiftly left. Tried a place next door and found it less complicated. I asked the lady if they had vegetarian dishes. Because of the language barrier, she took her phone out to translate and showed me which dishes I could order. She was extremely sweet. I waited a long time for my food. I was about to leave when I was served. I had to eat very quickly to make it to my appointment. The veggie dumplings were alright, but the noodles in peanut sauce were bland and overcooked. Not a very enjoyable meal. Thank you to the nice lady at the counter; she was truly helpful and friendly.
