The bullfrog was genuinely delicious and especially tender. They give you a small timer that tells you exactly when it is ready to eat, and when the time was up, the texture was perfectly tender. They said the bullfrog is freshly prepared, and judging by that level of tenderness, I do believe it. The other dishes were not particularly remarkable, but the vegetable platter was truly impressive. The portion was enormous, almost like a small boat. The two of us were just two girls and we ate until we were completely stunned and still could not finish it. It was only 6 dollars, which felt like incredible value. Between the tender bullfrog and the generous vegetable platter, these two alone are enough to make this place worth coming back for.

One thing to note is the price — it’s on the higher side, and if you order both the frog and fish, the bill can easily go above $100 for two people. Overall, a good spot if you’re looking for fresh ingredients and flavorful hot pot, but be prepared for a pricier meal. We went during grand opening so the staff weren’t very familiar with their jobs.
