I had an amazing experience with Dr. Ellant and his outstanding team at SightMD. Dr. Ellant is a great provider — professional, to the point, and genuinely invested in his patients’ well-being. He treated me with dignity and respect, took the time to discuss his findings thoroughly, and made sure I understood everything. A special shoutout to Kathy, who works alongside the doctor. She was friendly, warm, and made the entire visit smooth and comfortable. Her energy truly added to the experience. I felt well cared for from start to finish. I strongly recommend SightMD and will definitely continue coming here. Wonderful team, wonderful care.

Excellent first office experience. From the friendly, efficient front desk staff to the kind, skilled assistant who took me through my many scans, to Dr Ellant, who immediately put me at ease as he walked me through my diagnosis and what to expect during cataract surgery. He came recommended by my Retina Specialist as my cataract is the result of a vitrectomy for a macular hole. It’s been a tough experience and all this can be scary and daunting, but Dr Ellen’s and his staff made every effort to create a suportive and stress-free environment. I feel like I’m in very good hands and would recommend this Dr and practice to anyone.

Great experience at this clinic. I had an emergency a they able to accommodate me the same day even as a first time patient. The debole staff was very pleasant. High recommended .

My experience was very pleasant from the moment I stepped through the front door to the time I left. The staff was busy, but each person I dealt with, including Dr. Whigham was very thorough, and took the time to address the necessary concerns. I definitely would recommend this office location.. I'm glad I was able to visit and get my eyes checked.

Worst experiences I have had with a healthcare provider in NYC, for two main reasons. Timing I booked an 8:45am appointment and arrived at 8:30am. The office was closed, and two other patients were waiting outside for 8:30am appointments. I called multiple times and only reached an AI answering service. I left at 8:55am and took a timestamped photo. At 9:30am the office called and said I should not have left because they open at 8:45, offering to waive the no show fee only if I rebooked. I rescheduled for 11:30am, arrived early again, and did not see the doctor until more than an hour after being called in. When I asked the MA for an estimate, I received a rude response. I arrived at 11:20am and left at 1:40pm. The doctor The doctor spent less than two minutes with me despite my coming in for a new concern related to a recent diagnosis. His explanation was scattered and unhelpful, alternating between reassurance and saying that if things worsened there was nothing that could be done.
