I was around the neighborhood and was looking for a quick snack and came across skwr. I had their cauliflower and lamb skewers, along with their corn (which I forgot to take a pic of), and their sugarcane juice. Each skewer was really flavorful and not overwhelmingly salty. I highly recommend the sugarcane juice — it was fresh and the hint of lime complemented and enhanced the sugarcane flavor really well. This is the perfect spot if you’re in the area and looking for something small, tasty, and affordable.

Visited this newly opened skewers spot for their Valentine’s buy one get one free special and it did not disappoint. We ordered beef, lamb, chicken, fries, oyster mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, chicken wings, and sugarcane drinks. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The skewers were juicy and well seasoned, and the mushrooms were especially delicious.

What an amazing new spot. My brother and I went during the soft opening. Everything was priced super reasonably and the food was unbelievably good. For a to-go spot, they added unbelievable little touches to their menu items that makes it standout from other places. First, the fresh sugarcane juice! We watched them put the sugarcane through the machine to fresh press the juice! Also, the chili lime wings was a new wing combo that was SO GOOD. Everything is Asian street food! Every single skewer we had was seasoned perfectly. My favorites of the skewers were the fishballs, the beef, the eggplant, and enoki wrapped bacon, but honestly I don't think there's a wrong choice on the menu. Also DO NOT SLEEP ON THE DESSERT! I was shocked how tasty the fried mantou was. I had never had that before and I would go back just for that. The team working is so passionate and kind it was lovely to see them putting so much love and care into their vision. Definitely a perfect new addition to the East Village.

Such a great spot for a late-night snack. They had a good variety of options, and my favorite was def the spicy chicken and bacon enoki. 😋 The freshly squeezed sugar cane juice was amazing too! Will for sure be stopping by more 🩵

Walked past this place and had to try, I’m a sucker for meat sticks.. this place was so good!!! We tried a nice variety, I like that they have veggie options too. The spicy and the mild seasonings are both really good, and the enoki mushrooms with the spicy lime seasoning was GREAT i really didn’t know what to expect!! Also it was VERY CHEAP for nyc, perfect for after drinking or a quick snack. Definitely get the lamb and the eggplant, pork belly was also good too!! I can’t wait to come back to try more items!!
