Very fun meal, I had not seen a grill your own skewer place before. Good Chinese and szechuan side dishes as well. The cucumber salad was surprisingly good. The oyster was gigantic and looked like a meal unto itself. Not the most help for non-Chinese speakers, but sort of to be expected.

The food is so delicious. And we really recommend everyone to come to this restaurant. You can hang out with your friends.

I think the flavor is about the usual standard for the area. I didn’t taste anything especially unique, but it’s definitely not bad. This neighborhood is full of BBQ places and the ones I have tried have all been good. One suggestion: the meat in the guobaorou could be cut a bit thicker and larger, because sometimes the crust is much bigger than the meat and it’s not as satisfying to eat. It would also be great if they offered some meat without marinade, since over-marinating can sometimes take away from the texture. The lamb soup is quite tasty.

Parking was convenient, with plenty of spaces available in the neighborhood and a small parking lot nearby. I highly recommend trying the lamb, beef, and short rib skewers—they were all phenomenal. I genuinely have nothing negative to say about this place. I was thoroughly impressed and can’t wait to return.
