Sophia Deli & Grocery

The rating is not for the food but the prices. They outrages at this deli! Almost $20 for a normal wrap? Nothing special, just a regular ole wrap. Feels like serious price gauging because they’re the only immediate deli in the area.

Only good thing is They are open 24/7. This is the not neighborhood grocery store. They cater their business to the doctors across the street. Hence why everything is so expensive

This place is a tragedy. They price gouge because they're across from a hospital and they are the only option. They follow you around the store as if everyone that comes in is a criminal. And when you get the 19$ sandwhich you ordered, its got burnt chicken, 1 piece of unmelted cheese and bread so full of garlic you think you ate an entire clove. The boars head in the deli case is just for show they use off brand meats. And their credit card pricing is absurd. Wish they would sell to someone who actually cares about their patrons.

No matter what you get no matter if it’s bottle or can , a roll or hero , a big bag or small bag of chips , they always!!!! Round it to 40$. I tested it by buying the same items - two chopped cheeses . Two can sodas and 2 bags of chips = 40$ no matter what then tried again with chopped cheese and soda (can) still 40$ ? Food is alright but definitely not worth it for that you stay home and order uber eats .

This place is so expensive holy shh and all these bad reviews as well they need to shut this store down. They wanna overcharge just because it's in front of the hospital smh bad business! SHUT IT DOWN! It's so expensive that I prefer to pay a little more for uber eats and order from Tost Cafe which is close by on Kissena Blvd or if it's not too cold I'll walk there!
