Spear Physical Therapy

I had a great physical therapy experience at SPEAR. PT Wilfred Cheung and the entire staff supported me every step of the way, making sure I stayed motivated and consistent throughout my recovery. Wilfred pushed me when I needed it—especially during moments when I felt discouraged—and helped me keep my momentum when I felt like giving up. The hard work truly paid off, and that success is a direct result of the incredible staff and their continued encouragement and support. I’m very grateful for the experience and highly recommend SPEAR.

I worked with Jennifer Lee at Spear Therapy in Long Island City after surgery for a complete rupture of my Achilles, and I can’t say enough good things about her. When I first started, I could barely move my foot and was frustrated just trying to walk down the street. Jen met me exactly where I was, kept me motivated through every stage, and celebrated every bit of progress from learning to move my toes again to walking, balancing, and even jumping. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging, but also knows when to push you harder because she truly wants you to recover. I started at 3 sessions a week, then 2, then 1, and every time I left feeling stronger and more confident in my body. Thanks to Jen, I’m walking normally again and continuing to rebuild strength. She made the whole experience feel possible even on the hardest days. HIGHLY recommend Jen and the entire Spear team in LIC!

I had the pleasure of working with Wilfred Cheung during my time working on my shoulder pain and stiffness at Spear. I have only great things to say about him and the entire team that I got to work with (including Chon, Ruben and Thomas) at the CityView location! Good morning. First, thank you to my Physical Therapist Doctor Jennifer Lee and her assistant. She is a very pleasant and caring towards her patient's needs. I truly appreciate that about her. She took time to listen to my problems, and incorporated various exercises to help me. The Spear team were so welcoming and the environment was very peaceful. I had a wonderful experience at Sphere Physical Therapy. Fatou helped me with a shoulder injury and gave me great tips to protect my shoulder while swimming and working as a swim instructor. When she saw I could benefit from additional support for my softball goals, she proactively brought Cassie in to work with me. Both Fatou and Cassie were warm, kind, and adaptive, tailoring my therapy to my sports and lifestyle. Cassie was even able to walk me through softball throwing mechanics during my PT session to help me avoid injury. Ashley at the front desk was also friendly, welcoming, and patient. I truly appreciated the professionalism, care, and teamwork from this entire team.
