Spot Dessert Bar Astoria

Perfect date spot. All the deserts are good. Portion size are perfect for the price. We went at night when the place was emptier, got seated quickly and were served half an hour later.

Very excited to finally try this new location of Spot in Astoria. It has a nice clean aesthetic and includes a poke bowl spot inside (co-located). We ordered the best seller combo which includes the matcha lava cake, golden toast, and the harvest. Sweet and delicious!! Service was fast and great! Can't wait to come by again!!

This place has some of the most creative desserts I’ve seen in Queens. One of the standout items is the dessert that comes in a little flower pot with a cup of syrup — really fun presentation and definitely photo-worthy. I also tried the jasmine panna cotta, which was very smooth and flavorful. The floral taste is pretty strong, so if you’re not into floral flavors, it might not be your thing, but I personally thought it was really unique and refreshing. Overall, the desserts here are not just tasty but also made to impress with how they look. Definitely a nice spot to check out after dinner in Astoria.

I’ve been going to Spot for over 12 years across all their NYC locations. Was so excited to see Spot open in Astoria… and it doesn’t disappoint! The desserts are great, and consistent with their other locations. I appreciate the quality doesn’t suffer from expanding. All their desserts are good but standouts for us are: - Milky Puff - Harvest - Golden Toast A few years ago they had a summer special, the Watermelon Dacquoise, and I am praying they bring it back!!! In my 12 years as an avid Spot Dessert Bar fan, easily their best menu item. They do seasonal menus often and they keep it crafty and interesting. We follow their IG for updates. Service and ambiance at this location is a bit different than their other locations. The service is a little slower, and because it’s a co-owned space between Spot and Pokeworks the seating gets weird when there are many people coming in and out. Would recommend going during down times. However, due to the location being tucked in Astoria, even on weekends we never see it fully, fully packed. If you’ve never had Spot, definitely give it a try. You won’t regret. If you’re a loyal fan, this new location doesn’t disappoint.

We went yesterday around 8 pm to try the cookie skillet. It was really good, the guy working at the register was so nice and welcoming. He brought our dessert over and even asked if we wanted to record the dessert before he poured the chocolate on top. Definitely will go again.
