Square Coffee

If you’re looking for a good quick coffee stop around 8th avenue this is a great spot; especially since there aren’t many around the area it immediately catches your attention. They have a small menu to choose from but super interesting flavors like their seaweed coffee. I got the brown sugar shaken this time and i was blown by how good it was. The coffee was not overly sweet and had cheese foam on top. This is one of my favorite orders and they nailed it here.

It’s a little classy hole in the wall coffee shop, the young fellow who served was very pleasant and gave very nice recommendations for my first visit to try them. I just stumbled walking on 8th Ave and needed a cup of coffee. The price is a little pricey but the tasty was nice. You taste the coffee and not the watered down or over sweet coffee in the area with the boba shops around. This is close to coffee that is meant to taste like coffee. The 4 stars for the atmosphere is basically for the fact it’s not a sit in and it’s just a to go shop and for the price for a small cup is past $5 mark. But hey if you love coffee and feel it’s worth going back, the price would be reasonable.

This is literally the only legit coffee spot on 8th Ave or nearby and while it’s a shame they do not have any seating, I still highly recommend it. Not many places in the U.S. sell coconut latte, but they do and it’s not powder! It’s a tiny but popular coffee spot even if it’s on the pricier side. What makes them stand out is their service. They do a great job at making the coffee and they have the best service I’ve ever experienced in Chinatown and heck even in NY. Leo, the barista, was also very sweet and kind and has a great memory. I hope the owner is able to acknowledge his hard work.

Had the flat white, service was great but the flat white did not taste strong at all it was mostly milk, I could taste the coffee quality but the milk overpowered it
