Nestled in the heart of Forest Hills, The Star of Siam, is a true gem for Thai cuisine enthusiasts. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with the inviting aromas of lemongrass, coconut milk, and exotic spices. Star of Siam is our favorite Thai food destination. The kids look forward to dine there, so you know if kids love to eat there, the food is excellent. Two very important things to for me: the food is delicious and the price is reasonable. It's a small cozy spot operated by family. The service is excellent giving you a family like atmosphere. The server recommendations for beverages is excellent. First time, I tried a Thai beer, and enjoy it. If you like Thai food, I highly recommend Star of Siam. We will definitely continue to eat here. Parking could be a little hassle. We had to drive around a few times to find meter parking nearby the restaurant. You can also park in the streets if you get lucky.

We had a pleasant time here. The food was good. Go for it if you’re looking for a casual, unpretentious dining experience.

Small inconspicuous Thai place near Forrest Hills boarder. Went with a few friends. I had the Mock Dock Pad Sew Ewe and some spring rolls. The mock dock was good as were the noodles with a proper chew. I thought the spring rolls were not that good with a too soft texture inside more like paste than actual Thai veggies. I also had a Thai coffee which tasted of older coffee and typical sweet creame. My friend had the Thai iced teas and liked it. Service was prompt and polite. Very basic interior. It served its purpose but not someplace I would search out necessarily.

Where do I begin first off as soon as you walk into the restaurant and go to the bathroom you realize how filthy this place actually is. Next as you wait for your food you begin to smell the durispan, which is a chemical for killing cockroaches that the exterminators spreads. I tried to leave but my girlfriend did not want them to get stuck with the food order that I had placed. So I was a gentleman paid for the food went home and kindly threw it away.
