Starside Drugs

This is a great small pharmacy and the staff is always ready to help with a cheerful smile (behind her mask). I can always count on getting excellent service every time I come in. Thank you for the help you give me.

Staff is nice and they accept OTC card for anything which is good. The lady in front is very sweet. The only issue we have is having to wait 3-4 days for them to order our medication. They kept saying they have to wait for the order and all we can do is wait. Overall this store is great to use OTC card for general items or cash back but you have to bring your prescriptions there in order for them to give it to you which sucks because the pharmacy side definitely needs some improvement.

Came here because it is the only one that take United Healthcare in Flushing. After checking my EOB, realized that pharmacy ran items that I did not request to my insurance. They think because I don't have copay it is okay to milk my insurance. Do not go to Starside for medical equipment (orthotic/diabetes shoes, braces, walkers, wheelchair, etc.) they will just scam you. Call your insurance company for other alternatives, a new vendor just started to accept UHC. If you look at the negative reviews of the other 3 pharmacies under the same chain, you can tell that they are regular scammers that abuse non-English speaking elders. Many complained that Starside will take their OTC card to the back door, run the card to steal the money and come back saying the card does not have sufficient funds.

How come all of sudden so many raving reviews and they were posted around the same time? And most of posters only had 1 or 2 reviews. Are they fake reviews trying to cover the bad reviews? When I go this place I always get an attitude from them. I go because they were the only durable medical provider that take UHC. Like the other review, they run extra stuffs on my insurance too. I have since taken my business else where..
