Thorough and thoughtful notes of each encounter were sent for transparency into students strengths and areas of opportunity. Overhearing the lessons occasionally, Jed is also thoughtfully in tune with the students well-being; offering genuine encouragement and boosting self-esteem. Jed seems to have so many tools at his disposal, so he is able pivot and dig deeper in areas of focus. There is nothing generic about StepPrep’s services. Jed is an amazing tutor! Jed helped my son get into his first-choice school even though we started the sessions very late. The ELA section is particularly challenging to enhance in such a short period but he improved significantly under Jed’s guidance. Jed was very prescriptive on which areas he needed to work on to get better scores and he provided targeted, effective strategies on how to tackle the test. Additionally, he sent us detailed post-session reviews that reinforced the key lessons and kept us informed about my son's progress. This was extremely helpful. We’ve had a wonderful experience with Jed. His teaching method is very targeted to focus on my child’s weaknesses. He ensured my child was consistent with the practice required outside of tutoring hours. Jed was very transparent and made sure to connect with me after each session to provide a summary of what was taught and what needed to be done before the next session. Jed is an amazing tutor. He is creative and motivated to ensure students are engaged and processing the information. He was really helpful and thoughtful. He is excellent at tailoring the material to address the students individual learning style. It is very difficult to find a tutor that is capable of working with children with IEP and Jed was able to implement diverse strategies that motivated my son to learn something new without feeling it was too hard.
