Dr. Steve Lee provided me with skincare products from Skinceuticals that were visibly discolored and oxidized. I photographed the products side by side with my own purchased from Bluemercury for comparison. The discoloration was obvious from the photos alone. In Instagram messages between Dr. Lee and me, he admitted that he had given the same products to other people. He first accused me of switching the products out, then later blamed his own staff for switching them out. I posted an anonymous review with documentation to protect my privacy in late November. Less than two weeks after the review was published, Dr. Lee not only discovered my identity, he contacted my private phone number on 12/08. He addressed me by my first and last name, accused me of fabricating the review, and demanded that I delete it and remove any mention of him online. On 01/16/26, I received a cease and desist letter sent to my home address, again alleging fabrication. It was sent twice and addressed using a combination of my English name and a name I have not used in over fifteen years, prior to my naturalization as a U.S. citizen. Additionally, members of Dr. Lee’s family repeatedly monitored my anonymous and private social media accounts, despite my repeated requests for the monitoring to stop. I have documentation of this from late November 2025 through January 2026, including screenshots and videos of them viewing my Instagram stories, liking my reel, following and unfollowing me, and sharing a post from my account that was over seven years old at 3:57 AM. I changed my username four times after they discovered my account, and they continued to locate me. The Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016 protects consumers’ rights to post honest reviews, photos, and documentation about products and services on third-party platforms, including social media. I am prepared to provide photos, messages, screenshots, and supporting evidence, *unredacted*, to a third-party professional if and when required.
