Summit Funding - Dave Steinberg Your Mortgage Guy

I cannot recommend Dave Steinberg at Summit Funding enough. He helped me buy my wonderful home!!!! The rate is great - but even better than that is the kind and knowledgeable personal touch and advice. I told people that I was treated as if I was his favorite niece. He encouraged me to call him at anytime for any reason. He talked sense to me when I was overwhelmed. He showed me it was possible to buy this house that I love. I literally do not believe I would have bought it without his help. It's also important that Dave has been with me in buying and refinancing my previous house. He is genuinely a good man and so so helpful! And his trusty assistant Fran is truly a terrific human being! I felt like I was important to them - and I was confident in the financial advice I was given. Thank you!!!!

I can’t speak highly enough about David Steinberg. We had a really complicated mortgage situation. A different banking institution bailed on us after weeks of work because there were too many layers – – a co-op board, a trust, I live in a different state, and, despite it being occupied by a family member, they determined it was not “owner occupied”. All of this was made even more difficult because one of the credit bureaus kept getting things twisted between my public mailing address and my private physical address, which is in the name of a trust. David, with the help of Fran, his talented assistant, cut through all the red tape and got the mortgage done properly with a respectable rate. He even personally stayed on the phone for an hour and a half with me and the credit bureau to set them straight. I would recommend David to anyone seeking a mortgage – – especially if it’s a complex one My friend and financial advisor who recommended David to to me said, “ If it’s humanly possible to get the mortgage done, David will get it done.” And that was exactly my experience.
