Sweet Cake

We came around 5 and ordered their chocolate cake and a matcha croissant (that looks square) I was actually amazed by how good the chocolate cake was. The cheese filling on top was so good. And the matcha croissant was buttery and tasty. It wasn't that crowded, great place to enjoy your coffee and study!

Visiting from Chicago for the NYC marathon and needed a coffee and some food. Ran into this place accidently. Service was outstanding and very welcoming. Caramel coffee was 10 out of ten and egg sandwich was different but very delicious. Great neighborhood spot and would definitely come back here. Great variety of pastries and selection of drinks. Thank you

Revisited my favorite lovely bakery, and it happened to be just in time as they’re preparing for the Mid-Autumn Festival. This is my first time trying the mooncakes from Sweet Cake, and I was truly impressed! These 3Q mooncakes and mung beans mooncakes are unlike the usual ones and have their own unique taste. The crust is crisp and flaky with delicate texture, while the filling is flavorful but not overly sweet - perfectly balanced. Highly recommended for everyone to come and try 👍

Nice bakery with fresh pastries 👍 Cycling 100 miles today and came here to refuel. Was welcomed in and advised to put my bike in the rear. 🙏🏻 Got an Oolong tea as recommended. Enjoyed the Boba sugar bread & egg custard tart. Both excellent 😊. PROS: 1) unique assortment of pastries 2) baked fresh on premise 3) reasonably priced cakes for $38 4) ample seating 5) polite & courteous CONS: 1) egg custard tart was small in size 2) ambiance can be upgraded to a lounge style seating 3) can use some plants to liven up the space
