What truly amazed me was her ability to work with me long distance — I live in Texas — and still create a qipao that fit as if she had tailored it in person. She guided me carefully through the measurement process, and the final fit was absolutely perfect. That level of precision and skill speaks volumes about her experience and craftsmanship. Sylvia also made my dress even more special by adding delicate gold crystals to the sleeves. That custom touch elevated the entire look, adding elegance and subtle brilliance without overpowering the classic design. I went to Sylvia to order a qipao for my wedding and she was wonderful. She was very accommodating and able to fit me into her schedule on short notice so I could look through her collection. Her daughter was present at my appointment to assist and they were both so friendly and helpful. The space is small, but they didn’t hover and allowed me time to look around at my own pace. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Sylvia took thorough measurements to ensure a good fit from the start. I didn’t need any further alterations after I picked up the qipao. The quality of the dress was stunning and looked so beautiful. I’m trying to find an excuse to wear it again!

Sylvia is absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with! She knows what she is doing and will give you all of her honest opinions on what works and doesn't work for your body. She takes pride in all of the qi pao's she makes. Even after four fittings later, she still felt that it was not perfect by her standards and told me to bring it back after my event so that she can ensure it meets her standards. Prices are very fair and well worth every dollar spent! You won't regret going to see her. Just make sure you set up an appointment! During a fitting appt that I had with her, there was someone who tried to do a walk-in and was very pushy about it, Sylvia stood her ground and said they would have to come back an hour later when she was available. She respects your time, so please respect hers as well! This is all to say, Sylvia is your person to make your qi pao!

I was looking for a unique Qi Pao for my engagement photos and love the dress I got from Sylvia's Boutique! She created such a lovely design by hand with great attention to detail. The texture and color of the fabric is perfect. She was great at altering the dress quickly to my measurements for pick up next morning as well. It was very easy to set up an appointment by calling her number as she had flexible availability. Highly recommend.

Sylvia was able to help me last minute with getting a qipao for the tea ceremony for my wedding. She had many patterns and colors available and the one I chose needed to be taken in a bit at the waist. She was able to make the alterations the same day and we picked it up a few hours later. We will definitely be returning in the future as she has so many beautiful colors and styles available other than the traditional red.
