We got the chicken and pork katsu! They were both great but the chicken was nice and juicy and my favorite! The cabbage was really good with a great dressing! The soba was also real good

We appreciated Chef Jack’s friendliness and enthusiasm. He genuinely cares about every detail, from the freshness of the Faroe Island salmon to the quality of the rice imported from Japan. This is a cozy restaurant with great service and delicious food. We will be back!

I don’t think I’ve had such beautiful take out *ever* before. Photo of the skateboarder roll and the lobster roll. I enjoyed them both but probably the lobster roll the best - I just really love the presentation. I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened my to-go box! Well done, very well done ❤️ I stumbled upon this restaurant looking for a different sushi place and since it was almost packed, decided there must be something good going on inside. I had a tough time deciding which of their special rolls to get - both of these are part of the regular menu. I will DEFINITELY return for sushi (and had a little sake too) the atmosphere was great, good food, full of neighborhood friends and solo diners. All around a great sushi experience 🍣 ❤️

A coworker of mine recommended this place and I’m very sensitive to sushi since getting food poisoning at another restaurant about a year ago. The food here tasted fresh, I sat at the bar and saw where they made the sushi. I had the sushi for two and it was a lot of food plus some lovely miso soup. The green tea tempura ice cream was spectacular. I think the tables, counters, and glasses could have been a bit cleaner, but that just might be my hypersensitive reaction to sushi
