Been going to Taste Creme for years even before Covid started. Very sad to see the brick and mortar store in LIC closing in a few days. My family will miss all the petite cakes especially the lychee raspberry rose. 😋

Ordered a custom strawberry matcha 8-inch cake with fresh flowers and gold flakes - it was the perfect cake for our baby shower! Fluffy chiffon layers and not-too-sweet cream. I am a repeat customer! Highly recommend the raspberry lychee rose cake if you’re into floral flavours and the chocolate salted caramel cake if you’re into chocolate! Their cupcakes are super good too (texture and taste wise).

Katrina at Taste Crème is the absolute best! She made our wedding cake for our October 11th wedding at Stone House on Staten Island. We weren’t sure exactly what we wanted at first, but she worked with us to refine our ideas and helped create the most beautiful autumn-inspired cake — it was even better than we imagined! We got to taste four individual small cakes during the tasting, and we ended up going with the pandan strawberry — such a perfect, flavorful choice that everyone loved! She also asked us about anyone with dietary restrictions and was able to make a separate gluten free cake for the small amount of guests who were gluten-free. We are so thankful we found them- they truly managed to make our wedding day that much more special. Don’t hesitate to select Taste Crème for your wedding cake (and other cake/pastry/baking) needs!

Katrina baked our wedding cake in April of this year and it was a show-stopper! It was a two-tiered cake, one with blueberry earl grey and the other dulce de leche strawberry. It was everything we wanted in our wedding cake. The cake was elegant, yet simple. It had perfect texture and flavor. We got a lot of comments praising the cake and could not have asked for better. It was also an incredibly easy process to sit down with Katrina and discuss what we wanted. We highly recommend Katrina and Taste Crème if you are looking for an amazing cake on your special day.

Katrina is absolutely amazing! For a baby shower, she perfectly recreated the design I sent her (with some reference photos)— it was a match, and somehow even better than the original photo. Communication was a breeze through the app, and she responded promptly. There was a small hiccup with delivery, but it was handled promptly and professionally — I was really impressed with how smoothly it was resolved. We come here on occasion for their cupcakes and we love many of their flavors. For the cake, we chose the Blueberry Earl Gray Naked Cake. The fragrance hits you first, and as expected, it tasted great.
