Tea Mania New York

Tea Mania has to be one of the best halal spots in NYC. The variety, the quality, and the prices are honestly unbeatable. This is a newly built location near St. Johns and Queens Gateway, so if you go to either of those schools, definitely check this place out after classes. I was genuinely surprised by how good the food was. The first day we went, I was craving deli style sandwiches. It is really hard to find halal deli style sandwiches in New York City, so my wife and I tried the spicy beef salami sandwich and the turkey and swiss. Both sandwiches were absolutely loaded with meat. They did not skimp at all, and they were only about eleven dollars. A lot of halal spots overcharge just because the food is halal, but this place keeps their prices honest. The sandwiches were filling, customizable, and overall really well made. We also tried the Oreo cheesecake milkshake, which you can get with or without boba. The boba was a little hard, so next time I would probably just get the milkshake on its own, but the milkshake itself was thick, creamy, and really good. Then we had the Dubai chocolate waffle sticks. They were filled with what tasted like white chocolate and topped with pistachio and chocolate sauce. The presentation was great and the sweetness level was perfect, not overwhelming at all. The food was so good that my wife and I went back the very next day for breakfast. We got a malai milk tea with a full scoop of malai ice cream, almonds, pistachios, and great flavor overall. I had a bacon egg and cheese, and my wife got pancakes with bacon and egg. Everything tasted surprisingly good and the prices were amazing. The pancakes were only around five or six dollars, which is rare for the portion you get. The cashier was really nice and made great recommendations. We saw him again the next day, and he was just as friendly. When we visited, the place was pretty quiet, but I really hope more people start coming. The food is flavorful without being greasy, the portions are generous, and it is right near two big schools. Definitely tell your friends, support a halal business, and help this place get the recognition it deserves.

Cute little place with delicious treats. Wait time was a little long bc they’re understaffed but overall, great experience. Definitely want to try their gelato!

Tea Mania is a newly opened establishment that is definitely putting their best foot forward in the community. Located across from Queens Hospital, the interior is quite spacious and clean for those who’d want to go on a meal break, find a work space, or get something quick during their visit to the hospital. They do have quite a large menu, and aside from cafe specials do also serve cooked food as well. We had the Peach Fruit Tea and the Strawberry Lemonade Fruit Tea. It was a nice treat on a hot summer day. The flavors were okay, it was definitely better than the refreshers you’d get at a chain like Dunkin Donuts. I’d only recommend they improve on their pricing/portion ratio. But otherwise the staff is nice and I think they’ve hit on something with how spacious the interior is.

Honestly, it was a mid drink experience. Not terrible. I didn’t do the 10% off offer, which I will assume is leave a review. I never been to this location before. The brown sugar bubble tea wasn’t sweet, no modifications were made. The taro I chose for my friend was grainy even after consistently stirring. The employees seemed nice, and were patient with me (I didn’t know what to order for my friend). I would come back to try again, but I prefer the location on 101st Avenue (and I only been there once). The interior was nice, clean, and spacious!

I work across the street from this location..I went here three times, each time there is a long wait with not many customers. Today was the worst my coworker a I went at lunch, I ordered a bagel she ordered a sandwich. We waited 45 minutes for this order. This is totally unacceptable. Don't go here unless you have nothing but time to waste. The bagel was the worst I ever had on top of all of the time wasted.
