What-a unique experience in the middle of the lower east side. I felt i was eating at grandmas thai place. The Beef panang curry was my favorite dish and i truly enjoyed how fresh the food is. A take out heaven and a must to try on a low key afternoon

Super fire Thai place! I wish I had found this shop sooner. It’s a small hole-in-the-wall relatively easy to miss. It’s take-out only due to the shop’s size but they have seating outside. The restaurant seemed authentic and you can get a few different noodles and fried rice dishes. The flavors of the drunken noodles were amazing! The oil and basil with whatever seasonings used were perfect. Much better than the handful of other Thai places I visited. The tofu is (by default) softer instead of crispy so you may want to mention crispy tofu if that’s your foretaste. You can customize the spice level, I thought medium was perfect and I usually eat spicy foods. The ice cream was also sooo good, it tasted like thai iced tea boba! Go here if you love Thai food!!

Charming place and owner! They have some of their most popular dishes cooked and heated towards the entrance but you can also order anything you don’t see to be made Super convenient and friendly service. Note that there is no seating inside. The pad see ew with chicken ($12) was maybe a 3.5/5 but it’s a very comforting dish and the good experience as a whole makes this place a 5 for me. Also the plants are so cute!

The best I have had in the east village for Thai food. Takeout only which is a bummer, but this is my new favorite spot. Also reasonably priced.

The basil chicken over rice was simply amazing. The pad see ew was okay. It lacked a bit of flavor and dimension that I often find at other Thai restaurants. However, the prices are great. The portions are a bit small; so it would be nice if they had optional larger sizes for a slightly higher price? I’d certainly recommend giving Terra Thai a visit. There’s not much indoor seating besides a small makeshift counter with stools. They are definitely a takeout place. The staff and owner is very friendly. I’m sure I’ll be back for the basil chicken over rice.
