The Bao is amazing. Their lunch special is such a good deal. I got the double cooked pork and it was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Definitely one of the best lunch spots I have found in the city. They also have bottomless mimosas which makes it even better. Great food great drinks and a really chill atmosphere. I come here all the time!
Highly recommend the sweet and sour pork ribs (innovative), string beans (well cooked), scallion pancake (hits home at first bite) and firecracker chicken (awesome!)
The XLB is no better than any usual XLB in my opinion. But if you have to, the crab version is better than the Kung Fu one

Great experience at The Bao!
We had the super spicy bao, wontons in chicken broth, supreme fried rice, and double cooked pork – everything was spot on. Full of flavor, well balanced, and really satisfying.
Service was excellent too: kind, professional, and knowledgeable staff who made us feel welcome from the start.
Definitely a place worth coming back to!

Very tasty and reasonably priced bao. The noodles I had definitely lacked flavor, but the pan fried pork soup ones were super tasty! The scallion pancakes were also quite good. I’d definitely come again
2 of the 5 dishes we tried were fantastic! See photos for description. 2 were tasty. Only one dish, the Crispy Beef, was horrible - so bad we couldn’t eat it.
