Church is beautiful and the choir is angelical. Love everything about it except the homily. The Father rambles and rambles and rambles. His homilies are long and incoherent. He just doesn’t seem to transmit the holy power to the audience. Please, consider sending him to practice or swapping him for another priest. This church is well located and membership is increasing quickly. It has the potential to become a powerhouse again. Don’t let the father fumble the ball.

The old St. Patrick's has service in English and also in Italian. That's why I am here now. The headquarters of the knights of Columbus is located at the church and also the catacumbs in both sizes of the main building, it is a very nice and old church.

Amazing place, don’t miss the catacombs tour it’s so interesting, so full of history and everybody is so nice and knowledgeable! This is place is a treasure and any Catholic visiting NYC should check it out

I didn't even realize that there was an "Old" St Patrick's Cathedral but it makes sense after taking the catacombs tour. What a beautiful church. I can only imagine how grand it was before the 19th century fire. It makes me proud to be Catholic and a witness to the brave men and women whose perseverance established the church in New York City.

Big shout out to our guide - Tommy - for providing an incredibly informative and engaging talk about the church, its history, and the goings-on in the neighborhod back in the day. 5 out 5 stars to Tommy. And 5 out of 5 stars also to the cemetery sheep and the shepard who looks after them - absolutely adorable. In terms of the catacombs, for anyone who has visited catacombs in Europe or at the Green Wood Cemetery, this is a bit of a letdown. Even the "candlelight" description is a bit off - you carry LED lights etc. I have no regrets doing this tour but I would have to give the catacomb/crypt portion of it perhaps 2-3 stars max.
