The Creative Center

The Creative Center provided a range of art supplies (canvas, frames, paint, templates etc) in the Oncology Unit of Mount Sinai West Hospital, a welcome distraction during my 3-4 hour chemo sessions. Thanks to the in-charge who encouraged my nonartistic self to give it a go🤗

Thank you for facilitating art projects at Mount Sinai West Infusion Center! Art is therapeutic 🖼️ This was such a wonderful surprise for both patients and caregivers, being in the hospital for long hours at a time isn’t fun but when there’s an art project to work on, it becomes fun! A big thank you to Hellen for guiding us through the art projects we decided to experiment with some much care and patience. I never had an artistic bone in me but this experience made me want to invest in my own little craft cart to keep at home and work on.
