The Dermatology Specialists - Bay Ridge

I went to their Bay Ridge location today for my yearly checkup. Very clean and pleasant surroundings. From the Receptionist, to my PA, Jane, and her assistant, everyone was very nice and professional. My concerns were listened to and addressed patiently. They are very conveniently located, and I would certainly recommend them.

I highly appreciate RUBY*, Haley and Rafia. They are some of the most professional and kindhearted people I’ve encountered in any establishment. They have assisted me with an urgent situation for my government job, swiftly and impeccably. Therefore I thank you all very much and hope you get all the recognition you deserve.

Bought my 6 month old here. I was very happy with the service. I just did not like that. I had to fill out everything beforehand through my phone. when you have a baby sometimes it’s hard to do that ahead of time but overall my experience was well.

Good day, my experience was pleasant from the moment I entered, until I exited the building. The receptionist was awesome so pilot, professional, patient she made my time waiting inviting. The physicians assistance was so adorable professional kind and patient as well very observant w/a fine set of listening skills she didn't miss a beat made me smile inspite of my dilemma. Then the Dr. Jane Kuriakose, my initial thought was she's so young professional, intelligent no doubt soft spoken, stern tone w/a calm but confident energy. Do not go to this Dermatologist! To The Dermatology Specialist period. You will never be able to get in touch with the office directly.Do not put your credit card on file.They charged me with a fraudulent charge,and then attempted to try again. They are crooks! They also talked me into doing a biopsy,for a simple heat rash. The Doctor let one of his interns take the biopsy.I needed to get 3 stitches because,she cut into me so much.Due to her inexperience. Honestly,the regular Dermatologist didn't look to cleanly.Maybe I got lucky with the 3 stitches. LOL!! Then they gave me a follow up appointment,for 2 weeks later.The receptionist told me not to worry.The next visit is remove the stitches.It's a follow up appointment.I will not be charged for that visit. Not only did they commit insurance fraud,with United Healthcare.By submitting a bill,for something I wasn't there for.They tried to charge my credit card $55,for the office visit.Plus an additional $30,for what the insurance company didn't cover. What a scam!!! Then they send their bills out after 6pm,when the office closesat 7pm. Stating that you will be charged the next day.That way you can't get in touch with them,to correct the fraudulent charges. It's a nightmare,to get in touch with anyone relevant.They one phone number,for every office in New York State. Picture trying to get in touch with a specific McDonald's,in NYC.And there is only one phone number. I had to file a complaint for insurance fraud,through United Healthcare.I also have an active dispute,for a fraudulent credit card charge,from them. Avoid the headache. Don't go there. They would rather steal from you,than keep you as a patient. Also They weren't any help,in reliving my skin rash. The good news is! I'm all healed up now. Back to my old self.
