Had an appointment with the PA Paulina and was honestly nervous about the procedure I was getting. But she was great !!!! Amazing actually. It went so smoothly that I didn’t even realize that she started and finished. Highly recommend this dermatologist office !!!

Amazing cozy office, love love the decor esp bathroom decor! The receptionist was top notch sweet and welcoming. She even offered seltzer inside their cute fridge !

Dr. Trager is great. Assessed me thoroughly, treated on spot. His assistant was extremely helpful too and front desk are great. Highly recommend the Doctor and Dermatologist Specialists. Thank you!

"The doctor and medical staff here are fantastic—professional, great bedside manner, and the facility is spotless. However, I’m leaving a one-star review due to a deceptive and unresolved billing error. I agreed to a $30 co-pay and an additional $150 for an elective procedure. Two weeks later, I was hit with an additional $150 charge that I never authorized. I’ve made numerous attempts to resolve this over the last three months. Each time I called, I was told it would be 'taken care of,' but nothing changed. Even worse, when I disputed the charge with my credit card company, the office claimed the charge was correct. It’s the principle of the matter—they took money I didn't agree to pay and refused to fix it. 5 stars for the medical care, but a huge warning to everyone else: pay in cash, or you’ll likely end up fighting the same uphill billing battle I am." PS. I already tried your suggestion prior to writing this review. You may want to get a new billing manager, someone who responds to inquiries.

I don’t write reviews but this is the most predatory doctors office I’ve ever been to, from the billing to my medical care. When I came in, I was told I had to sign a form that kept my credit card on file. I told the person there 3 times I was not comfortable with this and was told it was policy (at any other drs office this is something you consent to, and both to her and on the form I didn’t consent). When I asked if I could be charged without my consent, she said i’d have to authorize charges and they could not charge me without my further agreement, but that the contract was outdated and she “wasn’t sure why they still used that one.” On the contract it said I could revoke authorization at ANY TIME in writing. Of course, this practice has nowhere to do so in writing—I emailed and texted revoking authorization and was bounced back and suggested to call them. At 9pm one month later, I received, without a bill, an email saying my card was going to be charged $300 the following day and to call if I would like to cancel the charge and remove authorization on my card. I called to remove authorization and was told that the “internal policy overrides anything I signed” and that they would not remove my card from their files, and that I should have been told that I could also give in a $100 deposit to not have my card on file (which I was not informed of). I requested that I simply be sent the bill, like any other doctors office does, especially in light of 1. the form saying I could cancel authorization at any point and my request of that cancellation repeatedly, which they said they were keeping on file each time, 2. me not having any kind of other recourse offered to me at the start, and 3. that the amount I was being charged is more than the form even said I could be post-insurance. I did not authorize my card to be charged at a random time, and was told to maybe just close my card with the bank if I didn’t want that… also, the “contract” they have with me is full of wrong information. I will say that the final person I spoke with was very kind and tried her best to do what was appropriate for the practice and the patient, by attempting to sort out a payment plan, which was made void as my card was charged the full amount that night, despite the many conversations I had with the practice not authorizing my charge. The worst part of it all was the services I actually received. I went in for a routine cancer screening, was given several biopsies and told to wait 1-2 weeks for results. Not only have I never actually SEEN the results I’m being billed for, I couldn’t even get in touch with my doctor. I had to call the main office line, get through a line of asinine AI bots trying to pretend they are people, just to be told my doctor would call me back “at some point.” From there a completely different provider called me and informed me my results were “fine”. Then, I was called again by the office and asked to come in for a “follow up” as the random provider who called me “had never seen me before.” I asked 1. where MY doctor was and 2. if insurance would cover this “second appointment” which they said they were “not sure” about. Finally, a MONTH after my appointment, I get a call from my real Doctor saying the results are NOT fine and that she might need to do a deeper biopsy, and she isn’t sure why the last doctor didn’t tell me any of that. She also asked me to come in for a follow up. At this point, between the disorganization, the insane bill and charge placed on my account without authorization or consent (or even a properly signed contract—I had them send me it for review and there is no legitimate consent, as well as incorrect card information on file) and the lack of physical results or medical support, they will never see me for a follow up or any other kind of appointment. I really do not recommend going here—I trusted the positive reviews and the first good experience I had when I met the doctor, but I feel it’s necessary that people know how predatory and deceptive this practice is.
