When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the welcoming and cozy atmosphere. It’s a clean & vibrant salon that has really good music playing in the background (seriously, I added several songs to my playlist haha). I didn’t make an appointment (since this was a spontaneous trip) but was seated within ~10 minutes and the manager Nicole checked in with me periodically. James, my hairstylist did a wonderful job with my hair & communicated with me throughout. Iris and Nicole were also really friendly and sweet. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience and I will be recommending this place to my family & friends!! Thank you for the haircut~ Price: $50 for blow/dry/cut Time: 1 hour

From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly by Nicole who immediately gathered my things and put them in a locker and gave me a nice robe. Everything was seamless and high quality service. I have Asian black hair naturally and went in wanting an espresso martini brown hair color (I had a picture and told them I didn’t want bleach) plus a trim and the total came out to $250 total which I thought was a very reasonable price for cut and color with exceptional service! Also while waiting for the dye to settle in they gave me a nice soft donut pillow to hold my phone up and offered coffee, green tea or water with a little chocolate cookie snack. It’s the little details that really up the quality! Jina did such an amazing job with the cut color and styling—very meticulous and professional—and the girl who washed my hair (I think her name was Iris) was great too. She really got in there with the scalp massage and they give a little eye shield so water doesn’t splash into your eyes when the hair is being washed. Great spot!

I am obsessed with my hair!! thank you so so much amy for your talent and work!! She is an amazing colorist and stylist. She worked extremely hard to get my hair done today and thank you Lily and the rest of the team for jumping in to help me too. the haircut is a 10/10, and the hair coloring is an 11/10. They worked 7 hours on my hair for it to look so good!! The team also gave me a charger and water while we waited for my hair to bleach!! my only regret is i wish i tipped them more. I’ll be back and make sure i do though ;-; . thank you again to the team for their beautiful work. I came from Lower east side to get this and it was well worth the 1.5 hour ride!!! i have previously been scared to go to the hair stylist because I have basically only ever had bad experiences at hair salons. So much so i have been cutting my own hair for the past 5 years. I have never EVER walked out of the salon more happy!! My hair has been complimented 5x already and it’s only been 4 hours since i left the salon. Thank you again! If you want a color or cuts, this is the place to go and you will not be disappointed !! i will definitely come back 🙏🩷 thank you eun me bang

Ok so I've been here 3x all for a haircut. Twice by hani and once by James. Like others said hani is definitely a newbie but not awful. She just needs more practice and actually be able to deliver what the customers are asking for lol that being said i had her cut my hair twice, once bc it was a last minute haircut and there was no one available and second bc idk I wanted to give her another try lol the 3rd time I actually went with James which one of the reviewers recommended and yes he's good. Very gentle with your hair, cuts hair in detail and actually styles close to the picture i showed him on Pinterest. I would go back for a haircut but either with James or the other guy others have mentioned here. Prices are fair, for long it was $60. Also, there's 2 girls who wash your hair, the curvier taller girl really gets into your scalp and it feels sooooo goood!

READ BEFORE BOOKING TO SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this salon. I went in asking for golden brown hair (showed them the picture from pinterest and yes this is for SINGLE COLOR) and spent about 3.5 hours (2:00–5:30 PM) there. The stylist even brought a color catalog and helped me pick the shade that was closest to golden brown (which I was only able to pick from the right side of the catalog as they were the non bleach option because I mentioned that I did not want to bleach my hair, and she said that was fine. After the first round of coloring and washing, my hair looked almost exactly the same as before — still black. Only the roots were slightly brown and it was barely noticeable. When the stylist asked if I liked it while blow drying my hair, I was confused because there was almost no visible change. The stylist commented I couldn’t see the brown color because the weather outside was GLOOMY, which honestly made no sense. The salon itself had very bright lighting inside, so blaming the weather for why the color wasn’t visible felt like an excuse.😒 She suggested dyeing it again with a lighter shade, so we repeated the entire process. After the second round, the roots were noticeably brown but the rest of my hair was still black. When I pointed this out, I was told “yes, because it’s the roots.” I am honestly very upset and frustrated with the outcome. Since leaving the salon, my fam and friends who saw my hair have asked if I even dyed my hair at all, because it still looks black.💀 That alone should say a lot about the result. This is exactly why people go to a hair salon — because they are supposed to be the professionals. If achieving golden brown wasn’t realistic, that should have been explained before starting the service, not after hours of processing that clearly wasn’t going to produce the result I asked for. If the color didn’t come out correctly, the salon should have owned up to it instead of simply finishing the appointment and sending me out the door like that. I was also told by the receptionist that the stylist “spent a lot of time” on my hair. But what about me as the customer who spent hours sitting there trying to get a simple hair dye that was never delivered? My expectations were not managed properly and the final result did not match what I asked for and yet I was still charged the full price of $190. Even though I was unhappy with the result, I still decided to leave a small tip of $20, which in hindsight I regret because the service simply did not deliver what was promised. Even if it wasn't the golden brown, at the very least my entire hair should've been dyed properly. Also, I find it very concerning that a salon would let a customer leave with uneven color like brown roots and black hair and still charge full price. If the stylist lacked the experience or knowledge to achieve the requested color, there should have at least been an honest conversation, or to have me come back and have owner fix the issue, or at the very least a partial discount if they couldn't fix it at all. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience for a result that clearly did not meet expectations. Now I’m left with hair that looks uneven and unfinished, and I will now have to go to another salon and pay again just to fix this issue. SIGH😩 Also, please don’t respond with the typical copy-and-paste apology about being “sorry for my experience” or that this “isn’t the level of service you aim to provide” if nothing will actually be done about it. Words don’t fix the situation. Unless the salon is willing to process a refund for a service that clearly wasn’t delivered, a generic apology response is meaningless.
