The Hair Salon I Do

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had such a great experience here that I wanted to share. I was able to walk in and the whole process was very thorough, from the wash to the cut and curled styling. Rui took his time and was super detailed with the long layers I asked for. He was kind, professional, and never made me feel rushed. The price was very reasonable and The Hair Salon I Do honestly impressed me more than other salons I’ve been to in Flushing. Highly recommend!

I got my first perm here a while ago and came back for another one today and loved it as usual. I was initially scared of getting a perm bc I didn't want to look too poodle-like but Rui did a great job making it looser and more casual. The curls also lasted a very long time and low maintenance. The first photo was taken today and the second photo was taken 3-4 months after my first perm and unstyled. My brother also came for a haircut - he used to get his hair cut by Rui regularly at the place he used to work and followed him to this new place that he opened! Rui is very careful and friendly and listens carefully to what you want with your hair. He also provides tips on styling. The atmosphere is very warm, inviting, and clean. Would definitely recommend for all your hair styling needs!

Had a great experience at the hair salon I Do. Ray and his assistant are very talented. Went to this location for a trim and bleaching money piece. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service and the results. I highly recommend coming here if you want a hairdresser who keeps up with trends.

Finally I found a decent salon to do my hair with a bit of professionalism 👍👏👍👏 This is a new salon managed by a young couple. Rui is the stylist and owner. Price is acceptable I had an extremely pleasant experience in my first visit on a weekday morning The place is bright and clean I was greeted by Rui. I picked up positive energy and I felt comfortable. They welcome customers of all ages ( children young and older folks) and languages English Chinese and Korean Rui, owner and stylist is skillful in hair coloring and cut for both male and females. He communicated with me without chitchatting too much that burdened me. I personally do not like to talk too much and just want to relax I highly recommend!!😊😊😊
