I recently had an experience at Mount Sinai Hospital and was impressed by the exceptional care I received. What stood out was the direct communication with leadership and staff - it exceeded my expectations! The hospital's effort to respect and accommodate diverse religions and backgrounds was truly amazing. I also wanted to address a concern many patients might have: the presence of traveling nurses. I found the traveling nurses to be highly skilled, friendly, and quickly adapting to patients' needs. They're experienced professionals trained to jump in and provide top-notch care - they've been doing this for a living! Their experience showed, and they seamlessly picked up where others left off. Kudos to Mount Sinai for leveraging their expertise to ensure quality care. Overall, I'd highly recommend Mount Sinai Hospital for their outstanding service and commitment to patient-centered care

My experience at Mount Sinai Hospital was overall okay. The staff was generally professional, and the care I received was adequate. However, the wait times were longer than expected, and communication could have been clearer at a few points during my visit. The facility itself was clean and organized, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of efficiency and overall patient experience. A decent visit, but not exceptional.

The level of care and professionalism in this unit was extremely disappointing and distressing for our family. My father has been under the care of Dr. Parissa and Dr. Feng for nine months for liver cancer, which is why we chose this ER and care unit, expecting compassionate and respectful treatment. From the beginning, the staff were rude and disrespectful when we requested a clean and private room for my father. When I called the unit and asked the receptionist for their name, they provided a false name and then hung up on me. When I called back to complain, the lead nurse told me she did not have anyone by that name working there. Initially she sounded as if she would address the situation, but afterward it appeared nothing was done. Instead, we were made to feel unwelcome and were even threatened that we could take our patient home after signing a paper, which felt like pressure rather than support. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially toward a vulnerable cancer patient and his family who trusted this hospital with his care. We expected basic respect, honesty, and a safe, clean, private environment, and those expectations were not met. I am requesting that this incident be investigated, that staff involved receive appropriate feedback and training, and that the hospital ensure other families do not experience this kind of treatment in the future. I been to this hospital for yrs. I done 6 surgeries there. But yesterday 1/25/2026 was the 1st time that I felt like the Doctor didn't care. He wanted me to go home at 11:00 pm. After I was given pain killers and muscle and nerves relaxers. The hospital is not the same. I always said that the treatment I received at Mount Sinai was a 5 stars. But not anymore. The Doctor didn't give me a boot knowing that I sprained my ankle, he put some bandages on top of the hospital socks. He pretended for me to walk like that. I know he wasn't an ER doctor because the treatment felt like he didn't care. I hope I don't need to go to the hospital any longer because I don't want to go back.

Needed a prescription for a rescue inhaler as mine expired and I was whizzing quite bad. It took two days and sleepless nights to get the prescription!!! First they didn't respond, then I was told to turn to another specialty physician, one that I dont use, then they didn't respond again while I kept sending desperate messages all that to avoid the trouble of submitting a simple prescription to CVS. Very disappointing!!
