The Lab is an exceptional facility for all things fitness and physical therapy. Chloe has such a practical and targeted approach to PT, and the rest of the training staff (Tessia, Madison, Iris, Albert) are all top notch. Could not recommend this place more!

Chloe has been a miracle worker for me! I went a little too heavy my squats, and my back was painful agony. I was referred to Chloe by some gym friends who told me she would get me back up and running. I was bit skeptical since my old experiences with PT have been mediocre. However, Chloe was a magician. She knew exactly where my pain was and she hit all the right spots. She also gives you 100% undivided attention during your session. I didn’t have to share her with any other patients! She gave me some excellent exercises and stretches for homework. Much to my surprise l was back in the gym within a couple days even though it typically takes me much longer to recover. Thank you. !

The PhysioLab has actually changed my life. While I always considered my active, I had never lifted a barbell in my life before joining the PhysioLab. Through Chloe’s expert coaching and incredible programming, weightlifting is now a core part of my life. She’s built an incredible community of people becoming the strongest versions of themselves who want to have fun while doing it! I couldn’t recommend the Physiolab more!

Wow! Chloe's fitness lab is a MUST. After trying other spots, Chloe's lab is a whole new level to physical therapy. I've been dealing with an unstable shoulder (regularly dislocating) for about 5 years and finally got surgery. Leading up to that, I tried the normal big box physical therapy spots in New York and they were awful; the therapists are overwhelmed with too many patients at once, there's barely space to do an exercise without people stepping over you (not what you want when you're struggling with basic movement), the recovery plan felt aimless and undirected, and I found my progress was slow because of this. Chloe and PhysioLab are the real deal. 1:1 sessions, privacy, and a real focus on progress. She's *passionate* and incredibly smart about physical fitness. She's constantly learning; during one of my visits, she was explaining the ultrasound workshop she took so she could better target specific tendons during therapy. My surgeon said my healing has been "incredible" and way better than most of her patients, and attributed that directly to the therapy Chloe has provided. And then there's the above and beyond part of Chloe's work. I was struggling to get my arm fully upright after working on it for awhile. She comes to me during my next session: “I was thinking about your arm this weekend, and came up with some new exercises that I think will get at this better”—by the next, my arm was fully up and moving again. I seldom write reviews, but it's hard not to seeing a business owner as passionate, intelligent, and focused as Chloe. I plan to continue working with her after my physical therapy for continued strength training.

I came to the PhysioLab on the recommendation of a strength training coach, and it has been a transformative experience. I had shoulder and back injuries from barbell movements, and I was legitimately scared I would never be able to lift heavy weights again. Fast forward, and I am the strongest I have *ever* been (I even competed in my first powerlifting meet recently!). The physical therapists at the Lab -- I have been lucky enough to work with all 3 of them -- absolutely prioritize getting you back to the activities you love. Not only did Chloe and Tessia provide manual therapy and targeted exercises to relieve my pain, as barbell athletes (and certified coaches themselves!) they were able to provide feedback on my lifting technique to resolve the underlying issues contributing to my pain. A typical session might look like bodywork, a few rehab or prehab exercises, and heavy squats. How many PT practices get you under a barbell?! I actually looked forward to our sessions, and I really feel like they have equipped me with the tools to take control of my physical health. I also separately had worked with Iris, the pelvic floor therapist, at her previous job and received excellent care. I had issues with urinary leakage during jumping/HIIT/running and heavy deadlifts, and my sports medicine doctor thought my back pain might be related to pelvic floor issues. Iris shares Chloe's and Tessia's philosophy of empowering their patients to manage their own health, and she taught me how to breathe and brace properly, how and when to relax and/or strengthen my pelvic floor, and how to perform manual therapy on myself. I was very excited when Iris joined the PhysioLab! What I really appreciate about all of the PhysioLab therapists is that they *want* you to graduate from physical therapy. Thanks to this team, I can lift heavy weight with confidence, pain- and pee-free!
