Love the people I've met here! Great place for people of all ages to grow roots here, with all the different small groups you can join. I've grown especially connected to the people in their 20s through our "Millennials small group" - they have a true heart for people to experience God's genuine, transformational love.
My mom and I have been to this place for many years and that the church has three congregations. The three congregations are English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. There were many people attending the church. The pastors were very nice, friendly, and kind.

The Reformed Church of Newtown caught my attention as we were driving thru Elmhurst! They believe in the authority of the Bible, the sovereignty of GOD, and the importance of GOD's grace in salvation. They’re multi-ethnic and offer services in English, Taiwanese and Mandarin. It was first established by Dutch immigrants in 1731 and the neighborhood in 1652 by the Dutch as Middenburgh, a village suburb of New Amsterdam. The sanctuary which is a NYC designated landmark was built in 1832. What attracted my attention is its Georgian-style architecture!
