醍醐台湾面馆 Ti Hu Taiwanese Noodle House

Seems like they've simplified their menu and focused on lunch bento, noodle soups and some cold dishes. Not sure what the one star reviews from a year ago but the beef noodle soup I got was very flavorful, just need to have thick cut meat instead of thin slices. The Sichuan beef noodle soup is very spicy and also flavorful. One of the best I've had in the city. The deep fried chicken also reminded me of the ones in the Taiwanese night market - I would recommend. The portion size is good value for the price as well. Seating in the shop is very limited so plan on only 2 or 3 in a party or take out. Call ahead to get takeout.

Newly opened 2 months ago. Huge bowl of noodles. This is a real Taiwanese noodles place and not one of those Chinese takeout food.

Great Taiwanese bento! I’ve ordered here twice and the portions are generous, with large pieces of meat and delicious food. The taste is truly authentic Taiwanese, and the front counter staff is very friendly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Taiwanese flavors!

This place is amazing! I ordered 3 bentos for lunch and it was so good and very authentic Taiwanese food. The staff at the front counter was super friendly and thoughtful, which really stood out. Having their own parking lot is a big bonus and makes it so convenient. In my opinion, this is the best Taiwanese food you can find in New York. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Ordered takeout while hanging out at a friend’s place nearby, so we picked it up ourselves and got it right after it was ready. The braised pork rice box was quite good, with a variety of side dishes that were well seasoned. The portions are also generous, especially the rice box and the chicken cutlet. The cutlet is almost the size of two faces. That said, the fried items were not really to my taste. Both the fried pork ribs and the chicken cutlet had a thick batter that felt quite hard and powdery. The sausage also tasted like the kind you would buy at a supermarket, nothing particularly special. Overall it was filling, but not something I would feel eager to order again
