Tonii's Fresh Rice Noodle

First time here, service was great, friendly staff and the food was good. We tried the the beef and shrimp variations and they were delicious. Definitely a good amount of food for the price.

It is not a high end restaurant and kind like fast food one. I don’t expect any good atmosphere or service. I am here is for the rice noodles. But it is very disappointed. 牛拉腸不行。 粉粘牙，牛肉好柴又咸。Maybe other food is good.price is reasonable.we saw the next table ordered cake. So we also ordered one. Not too bad, but not outstanding. Not fluffy enough.

For the price you cannot complain. Seven dollars will definitely fill up the average person. This place is known for the steamed rice rolls which they serve generous portions of. But it’s not the best tasting ones in the city. They’re also known for the sponge cake that we unfortunately didn’t get to try, but we will next time. The fillings were decent. The sauces were very good. It’s a no-frills classic institution in the heart of Chinatown. I understand why there’s a lot of hype around it. But I feel like the quality was better before. You do get great value and portion sizes for the money you’re paying. I would give them 3/5 stars.

This was a very disappointing rice roll since the requested toppings were not cooked incorporated. We got an order of the roast pork and it was small cubes poured on top of the rice rolls. The rice rolls themselves were not silky, thicker than I had wanted. The portion of the meat to the small rice rolls was not worth $8. Even with the condiments offered on the table (soy sauce, hoisin, peanut sauce), it was still disappointing to eat. On the chalk board was advertised the #1 sponge cake for $1.25 and it was not good at all. It is half the size you'd get from competing bakeries and nothing specular from it. At least there was dining space to sit down and enjoy the meal. There is no bathroom but there's a sink attachment that you can use to wash your hands!

Damn, didn’t think I would ever get disappointed by Tonii but it happened today. I used to order from here frequently, their veggie steamed rice rolls are yummy. I ordered a beef rice roll today and it was so lacking! There was barely any meat chunks, 10 pieces max maybe. The layers of the rice rolls are all mushed up and tasted very mushy. The noodles to meat proportion is so off - I feel like a small chern fun from the cart near Hong Kong supermarket has more meat than this! So disappointed to pay $7 buck for this unappetizing lunch. The flavor of all the sauces aren’t hitting the same like a year or two ago too :(( most likely never returning. Service is great tho.
