The Spicy Dakbal (spicy chicken feet) was my favorite dish of the day. The chicken feet were braised until incredibly tender—almost melting off the bone—and coated in a rich Korean spicy sauce that was very addictive. The Rice Ball was huge (bigger than my fist!) and fun to break into smaller pieces. Highly recommend dipping it into the dakbal sauce—the rice absorbs the spicy broth and tastes amazing. We also tried the Tteokbokki Noodle, which combines classic sweet and spicy rice cakes with ramen for the perfect comfort carb combo. The Seafood Pancake was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with seafood. For lunch, the LA Galbi Combo was a great value. The marinated short ribs were flavorful, and it came with spicy tofu soup and rice—definitely a satisfying meal. Great spot whether you’re stopping by for a good lunch special or meeting friends for dinner. Highly recommend! 🔥
Visited Tosokchon for the very first time, and this is definitely one of the best places I’ve had raw beef bibimbap. The beef was incredibly fresh and smooth, and the Korean chili sauce paired perfectly with the rice and everything in the bowl! I highly recommend this dish if you’ve never tried raw beef before. The spicy braised beef (beef spicy galbijjim) was also excellent, with thick cuts of meat that were very tender and full of flavor. We also ordered the soondae platter, which came with a small grill to keep everything warm ❤️. Lunch sets are available around $24 with different meat combinations. Overall, in my opinion, this is a must-try buget friendly Korean spot in K-town☝️
Fantastic Korean food and such a comforting experience! The kimchi pancake was perfectly crispy with a strong, authentic kimchi flavor and just the right amount of chew. The tofu soup was rich, savory, and warming, with a great balance of spice that didn’t overpower the broth. I especially loved the spicy stir-fried pork—tender, juicy, and coated in a bold, flavorful sauce that’s spicy, slightly sweet, and incredibly satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving real Korean comfort food. Will definitely be back!
Met up with friends for dinner here, and the entire table felt warm and lively — like being transported straight to the streets of Busan. 🍽️ Dwaeji Gukbap (Pork Soup with Rice) The clean yet deeply flavorful broth is the soul of this dish. Season it yourself with salt and white pepper, then mix in the rice — every bite tastes authentically Busan-style. Comforting, soothing, and perfect for colder days. 🍽️ Galbi Jjim (Braised Beef Short Ribs) Fall-off-the-bone perfection. The meat is incredibly tender and fully infused with a rich savory-sweet sauce that keeps you going back for more. 🍽️ Jjajang Tteokbokki (Black Bean Sauce Rice Cakes) A heavenly combo of ramen and chewy rice cakes coated in thick, flavorful black bean sauce. Savory with a subtle sweetness — pure carb comfort at its best. 🍽️ Spicy Jokbal (Spicy Braised Pig’s Trotters) Completely changed my expectations of jokbal. Tender, rich but not greasy, with just the right level of spice. Surprisingly addictive. 🍽️ Myeongdon Kalguksu (Knife-Cut Noodles) You can really taste the difference with handmade noodles — chewy, smooth, and satisfying. A hot bowl of this soup on a winter day is pure comfort food.
The moment you step inside, it feels like a little street-side spot in Seoul. The decor is warm and rustic—wooden tables, soft yellow lighting, and walls covered in Polaroids of happy diners. The vibe is lively and full of energy. 🍜 Here's what we ordered: · 05. Jjabboki | Noodle & Rice Cake in Sweet Spicy Sauce Sweet and spicy with chewy rice cakes and noodles soaked in rich sauce. Classic Korean street food flavor. · 07. TteokManSoon | Rice Cake, Mandu & Sausage Platter Three in one: golden crispy dumplings (juicy inside—my fave!), soft and savory rice sausage (no gamey taste, dip it in sauce!), and chewy rice cakes. Three textures, one plate. Highly recommend! · 21. Bulgogi | Korean Grilled Beef Well-marinated, tender beef with a subtle sweet flavor. Absolutely perfect with rice. · 72. Bulgogi Hot Pot Bibimbap | Stone Pot Mixed Rice Sizzling hot pot arrives at the table, with rice crisping up at the bottom into golden scorched rice. Mix it all together—the bulgogi sauce, rice, and veggies blend perfectly. Every bite hits the spot.
