Was staying by my moms and this hair salon is nearby so i decided to try it. Kenya is the one who did my hair. I had it washed, rollers set, etc. the ladies are all nice and Kenya gives you a great wash, wish i love. Your scalp WILL be clean :). they have very hot dryers and get the job done soon rather than later. I went there 2 times during my NY stay and will be going there again today. The price is very affordable. I highly recommend this place. My hair looks fabulous.

Absolute angels. I went in an early Saturday morning with a wedding hair day emergency! They were kind, professional and proactive. Eva was absolutely phenomenal. She’s great with hair and every texture! She was patient and understanding the whole time. This salon saved my wedding day and I can’t wait to go back for a regular wash and set. The salon is super clean and well kept. I highly recommend trying this place.

I let the hairstylist know that I wanted a chocolate light brown color. I explained a few months ago I did highlights and I covered them with brown color. She understood and we picked a color that could show in my hair. The color we picked didnt stick at all. She kept telling me its bc the dyed i got a few months ago to cover my highlights affected it and that's why the color didnt show. She kept saying it was a black color and I kept telling her the color they did was brown. If you knew the color wasnt going to take,, why didnt you tell me it wasn't going to show before we proceeded and when we proceeded to pick a color ? I dont know much about dyeing hair h so i leave it to the professionals. Don't proceed with the service you know its not going to show and then charge the client for the full work. It's really disappointing, and builds a distrust in the future.

My experience at the salon was really horrible. I normally have patience for anyone doing my hair because I have kinky hair. I asked for a wash and blowout. Eva who is the salon owner did my hair and was ripping out my hair from my head. She did not finish detangling my hair and putting enough spray for it to be easy for her to brush through. She didn’t know I was watching her look at one of the ladies who works at the salon while she was going through my hair roughly. She made eye contact with her like she didn’t care for my hair. By the time she realized I was watching her mismanage my hair. She looked embarrassed when I locked eyes with her in the mirror. I stayed quiet throughout. At the end she wrapped my hair so I didn’t see clearly how my hair came out. Until The next day I saw that I have a semi bald spot at the front right side of my hairline that she caused and was never there before!!! I showed my mom my hair and she was angry!!!! I will NEVER go to this salon again!!!! If you have kinky curly hair please BEWARE!!! BECAUSE she doesn’t care or have patience to do your hair well! LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT SALON!!
