TRUE LIGHT is a great place to worship on a Sunday morning if one is in Lower Manhattan, NY. These fine Christian people captured my heart and taught me so many things when I was an intern (vicar) in their midst (1976-77) There were many fine college age students attending there, They formed a dedicated Christian group. When I was there, three different languages were used in the services there: Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. For hymns, all three languages would be used at the same time. True Light was my first home I had with my new bride. So for she and I, True Light shall always remain special to us both. Indeed, True Light helped sow the seed for my wife and I to become missionaries in Macau, We hope to begin our work in Macau the summer of 2015. May the Lord continue to bless this TRUE LIGHT congregation as they work to continue to be a light to the city as they share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those people around them.
