Union Sushi

This is the best sushi place in flushing!! The food is so delicious and the workers are always so kind and welcoming. The prices are great and this became my favorite sushi place. Such a cute cozy interior

Union Sushi in Flushing was an amazing experience. The sushi was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and you can tell they really focus on quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Overall, it’s one of the best sushi spots in Flushing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi.

fast, fresh, and great customer service! got their chirashi bowl and a diet coke. total was about $26, but they have a cash discount if you’d like. i was immediately greeted with a big smile and a menu. loved how they decorated the inside with cute halloween decorations! i try to avoid a lot of rice if i could, but their sushi rice is flippin’ good! more of a take out place, but they do have some chairs and a table! free hand roll if you spend $20+

Though I'm not a big fan of their taro paste milk tea, the sushi rolls themselves are great and considering their price point I would definitely come back to the store to try some of their other options. The store itself is tucked a bit away from the busier streets so it was pretty quiet but the atmosphere is nice and great for people watching and although they seem to be primarily take-out focused, there are a few seats to eat in store. Bonus Points: You get free miso soup with your order and if you pay in cash you get a discount. Overall, I had a great time at this store and would probably come back as a treat for myself in the future.

Ordered for Mother's Day and order was ready within 90 minutes (5/5) . Pick up was quick and was able to pay by credit card (our usual place is cash only) (5/5). The place had very good reviews so was looking forward to trying a new place. Initially thought the value was good vs portions, lots of pieces in the platter. My opinion changed quickly after tasting the sushi. The tuna had a strong fishy smell and was noticeably darker than what we normally see. The other fish pieces didn't look fresh and the salmon also had a fishy taste, although not as strong as the tuna though. It was a disappointing Mother's Day lunch for the family. We ended up eating the rolls and throwing away more than 2/3 of the party platter. (1/5) Maybe it was an off day for them due to higher traffic, but sushi freshness/quality should be the #1 focus regardless. Unfortunately, I don't think we're going to order from them again.
