Unique Beauty Salon on Steinway is fantastic! I went in for eyebrow threading for the first time and they did an amazing job. They shaped and tinted my brows, waxed & threaded my upper lip. The results were perfect. The atmosphere was calm and soothing, the staff was polite, and the prices were great. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you, ladies!

Great group of ladies and a great experience. I (and others close to me) have seen a noticeable difference in my skin after getting monthly facials done here. They also do a wonderful job threading my brows and I love the hair oil head massages. Highly recommend.

⚠️ Absolutely Horrible Waxing Experience – Please Read I’m writing this with a burned, swollen, and painful face. I went in for a full face wax — it was my second time at this salon. The first time left me with irritation, but I gave them another chance. I wish I hadn’t. The technician rushed through everything, jumping from one spot to another without care. When she got to my chin, the pain was intense. I told her, and she casually said it was “normal irritation.” I left quickly for work — only to have my manager take one look at me and send me home. That’s when I realized how bad it really was: my skin had been burned. The pain has been so bad I can barely sleep, and now I’ve had to take several days off work. As a bartender, how I look matters — and this has completely shaken my confidence. This experience has been physically and emotionally distressing. Please, don’t risk your skin. I strongly warn against coming here for any waxing service. I’ve tried multiple times to get in touch with the manager, but each time, staff just take down my number and tell me she’s not available. Unfortunately, no one ever follows up. It really feels like if something goes wrong, you’re on your own—there’s no accountability, and no one seems to care.
