It is the best customer service ever. When you apply for a passport on Saturdays, you need to go early even they say 10:00 am. At 9:30 am, there is a line but fast it may take 10-15 min it depends of the person who applies especially with kids takes a little longer. For people who didn't have a photo taken, they can do it in that location. The best thing to do is to fill out the application at home and bring all original documents needed. Easy for the worker to processes and for the person not waste time and come back again. The Long Island City is the only in Astoria for Passport. Take the "G" train to 21st Street Van-Alst Station.

I had a really frustrating experience here. I came to mail something but didn’t bring a box, as I planned to buy one from USPS to make sure everything was compliant. But the shelf where they usually keep boxes was completely empty. When I asked for a box, they told me I had to get in line first. After finally getting the box, I had to pack my items and then get back in line again just to mail it. It was such a waste of time and really inefficient. I understand they might not want to leave boxes out because of theft, but if a customer clearly needs one, can’t you just hand it over without making them wait twice? There weren’t even that many employees working, which made things worse. The whole process felt slow and poorly managed.

This place continues to be extremely unprofessional. Everytime I come here they make it extremely difficult to retrieve my packages. I arrived today to pickup a missed package and Diane didn’t even want to take my tracking information because apparently my package is not ready for pick up even though my package clearly states it’s ready for pickup on this date. This is not my first time given a difficult time here, another agent named Nariah always has an attitude and lack of professionalism. They all laugh at you behind the window too while being slow paced knowing there’s a line of ppl waiting to be helped. Not getting my package after waiting 30 mins online is BS because there’s no such thing on usps website. I told this to Diane and with a nasty attitude she said “why would I lie to you “ … idk maybe cause you don’t want to get up from your chair and find my package DUH

Worst USPS THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN. I WAS HERE LAST SATURDAY TO PICK UP MY PACKAGE BUT THEY SAID THEY DIDNT HAVE IT. I came to pick it up today and they were keeping my package since last Friday. What kind of USPS is holding someone’s package and they didn’t know where my package was. It was utter bs. No responsibility and professionalism on this location. They are known for lazy service even from a USPS delivery person. They labeled my package as not safe when it is just kimchi. Supervisor who looks like it doesn’t seem to care about the issue too. I files three complaints before I was able to pick up the package. What a joke. Worst experience ever and never wanna deal with this location again. One star? Don’t even deserve any shape and color. I hope this location knows why their service is trash and horrible.

2025-12-24 3 p.m. I left PO crying and shaking I can’t believe this is real… the teller - Nariah - refused to take my 6 packages due to “rules ‘n regulations” when I asked for a receipt. On Christmas Eve. She started sucking a problem out of the thin air yelling, escalating, stepping away, and accusing me that I do not talk to people. What about the people who I’m sending my packages? Who are kids waiting for a holiday present to arrive around xmass? Yet Nariah doesn’t care about them, she stepped away from our window, when I followed, she commanded me to leave her window, what’s wrong with her? Post office is not taking packages anymore? She cannot be a store front representative, she needs to work with animals not people. Please PO, minimize my holidays contacts with people like Nariah.
