Urzúa Dance Academy

Urzua Queens Center of Performing arts is a unique place which has excellent professionals who care about our children. My daughter loves her classes and her teachers. Also, every single professional who works at Urzua helps our children to develop creative passions, language and communication skills, which help them to communicate effectively with others with confidence.

The dedication and love that each instructors applies to the children is remarkable. At Urzúa Queens Center of Performing Arts, I can say that my children have developed confidence, trust, discipline and their continued love to performing. Urzua has been truly wonderful for my daughter, who is now dancing here 7+ hours a week. We’ve been part of the Urzua family for over two years. The teachers have been patient but firm, and my daughter really feels like she belongs. The level of instruction becomes obvious when you see Urzua’s dance performances, which have completely blown me away. The only slight frustrations we’ve had were with not knowing exact rehearsal schedules well ahead of time to make plans sometimes. But it’s all in the service of giving these kids the very meaningful experience of working hard to achieve a spectacular goal. The passion and dedication of Ms. Lily and the other staff members really shine through, and it’s obvious that this is a labor of love.

We are a new family to Urzúa Performing Arts and so far it has been a wonderful experience. Both our daughters ages 6 and 3 are taking then ballet and Latin rhythms dance classes. The teacher is very kind and dedicated. I was surprised at the high level of quality of the classes. There are plenty of times to choose from to accommodate kids' schedules and they have classes for adults as well! The owners are very invested in having the school become a positive educational contributor to the community. We really felt welcomed and comfortable here. Our girls are having a great time plus the pricing is very reasonable, you can't ask for anything more. As a mom I recommend this school.

Lovely studio, great people, and tons of classes to keep kids and adults moving! It's a professional yet friendly atmosphere with high quality teaching and class levels offered that are suitable for someone brand new to dance, as well as challenging enough for more advanced dancers. A great addition to the community, it lifts my spirits just walking in there!
