When I booked my first appointment through a recommendation, I was thrown off when I saw such low reviews. The artists here do great quality work and my nails last a very long time. I get apres nail extensions and have gotten serviced by Bliss and Lila. Both have great attention to detail and are very nice. The staff are nice as well. The monthly deals are great but I always end up getting mid tier art with apres extensions. I recommend following the instagram account.

I’ve been coming to Vanity Projects for 6 years, and as somebody who is incredibly particular about my nails, and who also highly appreciates the skills required to do intricate and beautiful nail art, I would never go anywhere else. I have had my nails done from every single nail artist here, and they’re all phenomenal. Evidenced by the photos below. I love VP. Lastly, their salon is incredibly clean, and comfortable, and they have really lovely customer service. Everybody is always so friendly, and it’s nice seeing familiar faces every four weeks when I go.

Obsessed with my gel-x nails by Lila (@nailjerks). She worked really quickly and it came out exactly like I wanted!! She asked me about the design each step of the way to make sure it was what I wanted. I will definitely be back to see her!

I’m so confused by the bad reviews! I have gone here twice in the last ~3 months and both times were extremely pleasant experiences. Plus my nails lasted about 4 weeks each time. I find their prices to be quite reasonable, especially since they do Russian manicures as a baseline and don’t grossly overcharge for add ones like cats eye, chrome, etc. Attaching my last two manis here, both of which I found to be fabulous! I love this place and will continue going!

I get my nails done from Lila whenever she’s in town and she is hands down the best nail tech out there! The nails are always on point in design and shape especially for xl apres gelx and the retention on them is so good. I can just give her an idea and she elevates it to the next level. Her aesthetic is unmatched. Book her anytime you can catch her in town!
