I recently had an exceptional telehealth appointment with Village Park Medical, and I’m beyond impressed with the outstanding care provided. The NYU virtual platform was user-friendly, and the office staff was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the process, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience from start to finish. Dr. Kim is my primary care provider and was absolutely phenomenal as always. His expertise and medical knowledge shone through, even in a virtual setting. He took the time to thoroughly discuss my concerns, explain my conditions and medications in clear detail, and create a tailored treatment plan that left me feeling confident and cared for. Dr. Kim’s compassionate, patient-focused approach, combined with his cutting-edge insights, made the appointment both informative and reassuring. Dr Nathaniel Kim is my primary Dr and he is one of the best. He listens, he cares, he’s a Dr with experience and so much expertise. I am so grateful to call him my Dr. One of a kind and in a very efficiently run office. A++++

I rarely ever write reviews but for Village Park Medical, I had to. I've been a patient here for the past two years now, started with Dr. Mandell and now I see Dr. Kim as well; both amazing physicians. They are thorough in every complaint I am concerned about AND they are efficient. Very short wait times, easy appointment scheduling and prescription refills, and great front desk staff. I couldn't recommend this place enough, I no longer dread going to my PCP! Thank you Dr. Mandell and Dr. Kim!

I was calling to schedule a new patient appointment with NP Laura Mason for me and my wife. I'm sure Laura is great but unfortunately we will never know. I asked two questions about the provider. The receptionist cut me off multiple times and sounded annoyed, saying she "can't keep bothering her while she's in with patients". I said I never expected an instant response, I understand if you have to take a message. I'm never the type to complain about "attitude" from a receptionist but this just really rubbed me the wrong way especially because I was explaining an LGBT medical issue that we needed to make sure the provider was competent with. It felt like the receptionist tone shifted immediately when I mentioned said LGBT related concern. It's sad because Laura sounds great but I can't bring myself and my wife to a place that is potentially hostile towards us. Respectfully, train your reception staff better.

They don’t treat patients with respect. This clinic practices what I would describe as “no eye contact care”. You arrive in the waiting room and the receptionist will mumble something unintelligible at you without making eye contact and then be frustrated if you do not know what to do. When you get to your appointment, the doctor doesn’t look at you and just types on their keyboard. I’ve had a handful of appointments over the years here and they consistently start 45 minutes to 90 minutes after the scheduled start time. The reception staff will however make a rude comment to you if you walk in five minutes late. Most recently I had an appointment which had been scheduled five months earlier cancelled by the clinic on the day of because “the doctor is not in today”. The next available appointment is a month and half out. I will find a different clinic.
