Every few months, I will pick my ears, the ears are very clean and hygienic, every time I clean it is very refreshing and comfortable, professional technology and techniques, very trustworthy, and it is also a store I often visit.

This was my second visit to Visual Ear Sampling, and I had another amazing experience! The lady who performed the ear cleaning was incredibly kind, gentle, and professional. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and the process was both relaxing and satisfying. Watching the cleaning in real-time was fascinating, and I left feeling so refreshed. The place is very clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall great experience. I highly recommend this service—if you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out.

My mother was having hearing issues, and I wanted immediate answers. The fact they could see into your ear duct with a camera sold me. It turns out my mother has calcification in her ear drums. This was the first step in finding answers to her hearing problem. It was incredibly refreshing to see the inside of her ear. My mother and I both had the Deep Ear Cleaning with Ear Washing. My father, on the other hand, didn't need any cleaning upon checking with the camera. It was clean as a whistle. There was no charge for him. Everyone should get their ears looked at. You will be surprised by what you find. Incredibly grateful to have found Visual Ear Sampling. We will be returning every 2-3 months to ensure the health of our ears.

I had my ear cleaned by Vivi today. I was super stressed and nervous about it but she was really patient and professional. The procedure was painless and I would definitely recommend!

Okay hear me out. It took me some time to think about this experience and additional research post-session on my part and I have thoughts. First, the service itself deserves 5 out of 5 stars—no doubt about it. The technician who performed the ear cleaning was excellent: thorough, gentle, and made a clear effort to explain the process to the best of her ability. She was conscientious and aimed to make the experience as comfortable and painless as possible. That said, there are a few concerns that brought my overall rating down to 4 stars: 1. Cost – The price for earwax removal is $200 per ear, which I find excessive. While the provider was efficient and completed both ears within an hour, paying over $400 for the procedure felt steep—especially considering this is a cash-only establishment (I paid $538 to get both ears cleaned on top of tip - I will talk about tip in a moment). In my opinion, $100 per ear at most would be a much more reasonable rate for this type of service. If you’re looking to manage costs, I’d recommend getting a general cleaning at an ENT doctor first (which may be partially covered by insurance), and then perhaps coming here for routine maintenance cleanings—currently priced at $88 per ear. While it may be true that primary care doctors will only provide a script for ear wax softeners, ENT doctors are equipped with the same tools to do the same job; all of which is covered by most insurance. 2. Tipping Expectations – After already paying a significant amount, she still expected me to leave a tip. For a procedure of this cost, I would expect the staff to be compensated fairly through the service fee itself, especially if it’s not a gratuity-based industry. It raises questions about why the business model doesn’t better support its own practitioners. 3. Language Barrier – English proficiency at this location is limited. If you’re not at least conversational in Chinese, communication might be a challenge. Thankfully, my broken Mandarin was sufficient for simple dialogue. Will I return? Probably not—not because of any issue with the staff (the ear cleaner was fantastic), but because the pricing structure just isn’t reasonable in the context of modern healthcare. If you’re already paying for health insurance, either through private means or taxes, it makes more sense financially to seek care from a licensed ENT doctor. Copay may be significantly less than what I paid to get both my ears cleaned on top of tip. It was a good experience nonetheless and I hope that my review can guide whoever is looking to get their ears cleaned.
