Vivian has been fantastic from beginning to the end. Especially if you are first time home buyer, I strongly recommend her. We were a couple. First-time home buyer. We had a tight timeline where we were looking to close within 60 days. We also had limited time for open houses, as my partner was only available on the weekend. We sent over a few houses to Vivian that we liked to align our expectations, and Vivian coordinated a full weekend with back-to-back open houses. What was amazing was that she also considered travel time, etc. We had a packed weekend but it was not rushed. We were still able to take time and check out each property. After a weekend of intense open houses, Vivian set down with us to discuss properties we liked and strategies. Vivian never forced choice on us, but listened to our opinions and advise accordingly per her expertise and experience. For the property we were interested in, we got into a bidding war, but with Vivian’s guidance and our real estate lawyer, we were able to work out a deal. The process was relatively stress-free, and I felt confident with Vivian that she will be representing my best interest and grateful to have her as my agent and adviser. To be honest, Vivian earned our trust after one weekend, but give her the opportunity and your trust, and she will not let you down. Also, ask her for any recommendations. Mortgage, real estate lawyer, etc. Her recommendations are top notch and they deliver. We trusted her so much that we even ask her for a restaurant recommendation after closing, and it was top-notch also!!! She is dedicated and communicative. If you leave her a message, she will always get back to you, day or night. Not to mention she also surprised us with a gift at the closing. Vivian was recommended to us by one of my good friends. Vivian Chen is the best realtor one could ask for! She helped my girlfriend and I find our forever home and I am so happy that she represented us as our realtor during the entire process. Vivian is extremely responsive, answering any and all questions we had during our search for our new home. She asked what we were looking for (and we changed our minds quite a bit, going from condos to co ops to townhouses, two family houses, and single family houses) and kept us up to date with any inventory that met our needs. As we toured homes, she kept mental notes of what we liked and disliked about the properties and tailored her recommendations based on our likes and dislikes. For each home walkthrough, she mentioned important information like the school district as well as pros and cons for the neighborhood, which helped narrow our search. Once my girlfriend and I finally found a home we wanted, Vivian worked quickly to put together our offer. Due to the competitiveness in the housing market, she offered suggestions to make our offer more competitive and attractive, and we took her suggestions because we trust her judgement and expertise. Thanks to Vivian’s advice, we were able to beat several offers including ones higher than our own.
